I am liking 8.0.0, few things
 
Do colored smokes already work for officers (cause they dissapeared from inventory)
I like the taru, even with everybody bitching about the rotorslib, its a great transport vehicle, so what's the prob.
I love the new siren lights.
and the prison  is back to pyrgos island.
everyone has been bitching about the prison and now it's moved with a redesign, i am happy
 
Now i am hoping that more good stuff will come

Hotfix 1a:
Fixed a few exploits related to crank Crank can no longer be cooked inside industrial sheds

Sometimes i really hope that the developers see through all the whining and bitching because 8.0 isn't how they wished for on their christmas list.

Hotfix 1:
Starting up the lab on an RV will now allow you to process and access trunks and crates without having to soft log etc. Chem lights should be available for both cops and civs now

Hit break down lab then escape so it doesnt actually break it down. Stops that message and then you can access :))

I agree on you with that money making is needed for fights, and fights are needed for fun

Fair point but imo fights are stale need a new objective

There is more planned for the 8.x line, but it's been 4 months since a patch came out.  The RV is going to be a game changer in terms of making money.  Rotating cartels is something that will make the game feel less stale IMO as well.  There are new fights you can have each server reset, and new rotations for you to run around robbing people.  
Play it and see what you think.
