    I didn't change anything with damage event handlers, so I don't think it's something I did but can be looked into.
    The new update is in rough testing at the moment, yesterday was my first day at my temporary job, and my phone says I walked like 9 miles. Which was rough considering I've sat on my ass for almost everyday the last 4 years. So I came home and passed out. Everything hurts but I plan on finishing up the update today, it will then be tested by select few, and then we'll be gucci. Sorry again for the delays, this month has been really chaotic. Tomorrow I have an in person interview for an IT job so hopefully that goes well and I won't need to continue my labor intensive job where I almost die from walking for 11 hours...
    I've also been working on more optimization things to help find the root of the server issues, which is also part of the reason for the delays since I've been splitting my time between performance investigation stuff/new update. After this new update drops if Bamf want's to keep me around to find the root of the server perf issues I've got some new things to try that seem really promising.
    And yes this update will fix items scattering across the ground....

    Hey, just jumping onto this thread instead of making a new one. I’ve been trying to get on Asylum 3 for over a week. Kinda freaking out as I’m heavily invested in server 3.
    Normally 3 has been open 3pm - 3am est and it’s been great. But recently it seems to die a few hours after opening up. Is there anyway we can have it open, say around 6pm est? 
    I’ve got a bunch of houses and gear that I’m worried about losing because I have been unable to get on all week. I work 9-5, and can only really play at night.
    Thank you for your time and building asylum. I just registered this account but I’ve been playing here for many years. Thank you!

    There's about 5 minutes to go on the server restart and Rice Cooker has something like a $170k bounty on the rooftop waiting for the apocalypse. Every bounty hunter and cop in town is on the scene. He ends up nuking about 8 of us with an RPG

    Absolutely you can. You don't need to initiate either if all you're doing is getting in their vehicle and driving away. Only if you plan on doing so by force with a weapon, then you will need to initiate.

    Now seeking: rookie hunters, and hunter trainers.
    Rookies will earn their automated share of bounties, plus additional bonuses for each capture. Starter gear is available. Rookies must have a polite attitude.
    Hunter trainers will also earn their automated share plus additional bonuses for each capture. Trainers must have a passion for helping newbies.
    The additional bonus will consist of my own share of the bounty split among the team.

    So I've had an idea that we create a new punishment that could be an alternative to parole or possibly merge the idea with parole to combat crime.
    The point of parole or giving a ticket is to try and make sure the convicted criminal doesn't repeat their behavior and become a law abiding citizen, however with repeat offenders it's clear there's not much you can do as a police officer. The idea is police could give them a felony that'll stick with them for an hour like parole. Being a felon, the person would not be allowed to enter an illegal area or purchase a weapon. If they're seen with a weapon regardless of what they're doing with it, police would have probable cause to search them and take away their weapon/licenses + give them a charge.

    Cops give parole because they want the full payout AND they know that person will most likely break parole, meaning more payout.  NOT because they want that person to reform.
    Playing cop is strictly a money farm, not a way to make the island a "safer place"

    Once in restraints, pretty much anything can be done to you, but nothing by you.

    The Taru, and any helicopter, may be freely flown in any flight settings you choose. We do not enforce advanced flight model, before that was done via script. Feel free to fly your way.

    not saying this would be high priority, but can we fix or remove governor.  Shit has been bugged for weeks (same gov for WEEKS, can't vote for a new one).  seems a bit unfair.

    Dont worry, you'll catch us before you know it. 23 years ago I remember Leroy and me getting off of work at night and heading over to his house and linking our Playstation 1's together through a hole in the wall so we could deathmatch each other on Doom while in separate rooms. We would play that shit until 3 and 4 in the morning.
    That feels like last week. It goes by in the blink of an eye.

    Still working on it, this may be my last week coding for asylum so gotta finish it up. Starting a temporary full time job on monday. I would post some of the videos of the system in action but don't wanna leak the features
