I'd say Bamf at least is taking steps to listen to the community.  They still don't get through that a lot of changes after 6.0 have not worked well for Asylum and if they'd just revert back some features to what they were before 6.0 then they would not be dealing with this.

If it was direct to gang bank it would encourages all gangs interested in the money that comes from it to constantly control the cartel. Why? Because you don't know how much your gang bank could be missing out on. The way it stands now, small gangs will only come fight if there's over 50k in it. 

@bamf talked about a system where a fake player spawns on the location that the player logged out and you get the chance to take that to the courthouse.  I think that's the best possible solution since they just want to make combat logging one fucking day.
