    Hello Asylum,
    Over the last few months we have seen a large quantity of cash enter the islands economy. In this patch we have taken steps to slow some of the more steady faucets to our economy. We also have taken this opportunity to slightly reduce the influence of perks & talents normally held exclusively by long standing gangs and veteran players. Doing this allows us to raise the base prices on most drugs closing the wage gap a bit between veteran and new players. We continue to monitor the logs and will adjust as necessary.

    While the war for control of the island rages on between rebel factions and the APD. An independent group of wealthy investors have constructed a new factory.     Actually looking at your account, you have yet to even try this shit support system. 
    So perhaps we should rephrase your original post to something more accurate.

Throughout my short life, everything around me has been designed to provide me with dopamine to encourage my continued use of whatever product. Therefore when using your services you have failed to create that reward that I'm dependent on. Therefore I'll lash out as an alternative route to that ever so desperate fix that I need."
    On top of that, we don't offer any official support via our Discord. 
     
    Little known fact. We work to ensure that your access to anything asylum related is as difficult as possible. The phone verification? Ha. We don't know why I would enable that. There are only honest people on the internet that only have the best intentions. Therefore we don't need any enhanced security steps around us. We just did it for shits and giggles.

    Admins are a group of volunteers who cannot be in the game or on teamspeak 24/7. All you need to do is record a player violating a rule and report it here https://www.gaming-asylum.com/forums/index.php?/support/

    Admins will get to it as soon as they can typically within 24 hours. 

    Please provide sufficient evidence to help this process.

    Sufficient Evidence -- Vehicular Death Match (VDM) - Roughly 10 seconds before the incident Combat Logging (CL) - FULL Screenshot of a player being downed and immediately disconnecting, chat must be continuous to show timing. Multiple screenshots are allowed to facilitate this requirement. Combat Logging (CL) - Video showing a player being engaged in role play and using ESC suicide or disconnecting to avoid interaction Combat Logging (CL) - Video evidence of a player disconnecting after being killed and then immediately rejoining Random Death Match (RDM) - Video evidence showing 5 minutes prior to the RDM (i.e, 5 minutes prior to your death) Exploiting - Clear video evidence of an exploit happening If you do not have sufficient evidence, you may still make a report to help support further reports on the player. The admin staff have the right to refuse taking action on any report. If you report someone who has already compensated you for a situation, the reporting player is likely to be banned. Reports MUST be filed within 72 hours of the incident. We do not accept 3rd party player reports for CL, VDM, or RDM

    Added rule around Gov system:
     
    The Governor system is intended to be a server wide feature that allows anyone to run for and hold the position. The rule is that you, or any member of your gang cannot hold office more than once in a 30 day period. Any attempt to circumvent this 30 day requirement such as leaving the gang etc will be considered exploiting. It's imperative that we work to ensure that this server feature is not cornered by one or two groups of people. The team of staff reserves the right to review and judge as needed. If we feel that your actions, group, or gang status was changed to exploit this feature. You are liable for administrative action being taken against you.

    If you are playing the game and someone happens to break a rule against you. And you in turn ask for reasonable compensation (equal to the  game value of the items lost) or a reasonable amount to compensate for a situation where a monetary value was not lost. You are not able to continue the report process. By accepting compensation you forfeit the ability to report. If you decide to continue though the process, you are liable to be banned for a discretionary amount of time by the reviewing staff member.  To add, every attempt should be made to resolve a violation at the lowest level before submitting a formal report. Accidents happen and people should be given the opportunity to correct their mistake.

    Explosives can still kill you in cop restraints. If anybody with a rook could rescue someone in custody, no one would be processed, ever. It might not make sense from a roleplay standpoint, but it's super important for balance.

    Hello all,
    @Mason has retired from his position as a Community Manager. He has had many years of service to us all here and has done a ton of work behind the scenes. Some of that work the average player never saw. His work and dedication will always be appreciated. While a replacement is found, please continue to lean on @Leady for your Community Manager needs. Please understand that there may be a delay in help as he is already overloaded. 
     
    @Steveand @Heidelberg have stepped away for the time being, but it is not forever. While they get some much needed R&R, they will return to active status when able. 
    @Boonie Hat has been promoted to developer and has stepped away from his admin duties.
    Moderator apps should be opening within the next few weeks. Keep your eyes open for future announcements on this.
