  1. I will debate the rules, especially when they aren't 100% clear situation dependent. I never got the message myself so if we are going off of technicalities I never did receive it. But anyway, this whole topic which we are speaking of right now is irrelevant to my original point to my original post. Lethal wanted to make it about him and here we are, I figured id humor him for a bit and well nothing productive game from it anyway. I didn't realize we publicly discuss RDMs, the thing that Lethal brought up is a tricky situation because if you look at it from my end, that message was never seen, then I was killed.... Can you honestly blame me? Or should I just take the guys word that he did what he said he did when I don't even know him? Especially considering his ability to communicate respectfully. But I'm done discussing this, there's not point to it any more. YOU CAN DO THIS?! Omg. Thats worth a Hemt right there! No shit eh? Can someone just lock the damn topic? This is becoming beyond pointless. Someone actually posted something about Autism...Yah know you live with Mom when... See you all in game, Cheers, ~Brown
  2. Just curious, if I have my guy kitted out on civilian and I decide that I want to try EMT (one the appropriate amount of time has lapsed). I then log onto EMT, what happens to my civilian character? Are they treated as two separate characters? Thanks in advance! ~Brown
  3. For the record, Odin had DCed and never got your message and I couldn't exit the vehicle at all or I would have taken your head off the moment you got out of the chopper. Had you actually established a line of communication however I would have told you that I can not exit the vehicle. I had no idea of the demand you made...OVER TEXT. Then you capped two people sitting inside a vehicle. *clap* MAN the skill! Watch your 6. ~Brown
  4. Thanks for the good laugh guys. I'm so sad/mad right now I wont be able to sleep tonight. Sad thing is I'm actually kind of disappointed. I heard to be careful posting on here because there are some nasty trolls that will eat you alive. I'm actually kind of disappointed... All I see is poorly structured sentences and pitiful name calling. OH! and.... My names not Odin by the way. But you know what Lethal, I really hope you don't get banned. This game seems very very important to you, I don't think it would be good for your health. You know what? Out of sympathy for your situation I will remove my report from the forum. Its all good man, you can thank me later. Cheers guys! See you in game. ~Brown
  5. Well I might respond to a couple people on here in the spirit of discussion. You seem to be having a conversation with yourself here. I will accept the fact that you have just told me you are confused and forget that I have read this "wannabe trolling" post. It too baffles me that you took time to write this! But I do appreciate your attempt at feedback. I like it, thanks for the advice! Well nice attempt to save yourself. With a cropped...odd screenshot that really means nothing... However reading your own admins rules : "First, it is no longer acceptable to send someone a text message telling them they are going to die and then killing them immediately (or shortly thereafter). Things like “you will die” followed by someone being killed will be a bannable offence going forward." quoted from bamf from the updated rules page. So what is your point? If you would like to make this issue with you RDMing public as I can see from your post...I CAN do that. However, I figured id let the admins sort it out... But thanks for coming out! Nope they sure aren't! Thanks for the advice, I didn't even know that you could do that! So going back to the first confused guy that I quoted...HEY look! Two posts that caused me to learn new things! Imagine that...guess it was worth posting. In conclusion..Thanks for the good responses and great advice from those who took the time. And for those of you who came out from under your bridge to try and validate your insecurities...Good try! Cheers.
  6. Yeah I am pretty good with waiting to initiate RP, its just anxiety inducing watching every vehicle to come up and then figure out if they are friend or foe. Had a great instance today with two of the cops getting our HEMT back that was stolen, I think the guys name was Blackadder or something on server one. It was nice because the guys who stole it RDMed my brother, got shot by me, his friend stole the HEMT, and then the guy who was shot drove all the way back to the HEMT to be arrested. Kudos to the cops on that one, made our day! Its just brutal...the only legal way to defend is a 9mm pdw. Bit of an advantage when they all have MK18 7.62mm but im sure you cops know all about that! ~Brown
  7. Hello, Many of you probably do not know me yet as I am a recent addition to the server by about a month. During my time of playing I usually like to mine, process, make legal weapons, and sell processed diamonds for money with my RL brother Odin. Now I am writing this because I have noticed a bit of a...well ok a major disadvantage when it comes to this. In the past week and a half we have lost about 3 HEMT's, 1 of of those due to an RDM (which for some reason is still being processed...). After each of those we have tried to come up with legal ways to defend these vehicles during the processing procedure, and honestly...we are at a major major disadvantage. So here's an example; My brother and I go to the medium yield quarry and fill the HEMT with Iron and uncut diamonds. We then drive it to mineral processing and then later to salt mining and then to the gun processing. A process which every rebel seems to be familiar with. While we are at the processing, and this has happened many times, we have someone run up to us, with MK18's, Assault Rifles, or whatever other type of illegal weapon, run up to us without me being able to do ANYTHING and tell us to put our hands up. We comply, they use one lockpick, open the vehicle, then drive it away and chop it. If we take more than 2 secs to do that, they just kill us and that is it. Very low risk for the bad guys, they can walk right up and there you have it. 60, 000 dollars and an hours work to waste. My question is, I go and sit on a rooftop, lay in the grass with a rifle, and I see two guys pull up in a car with illegal weapons and come within 100 meters of our hemmt hauling 100k worth of goods, and I KNOW they are up to know good. Can I not just engage them? ESPECIALLY when they are approaching a vehicle guns up at the ready in guerrilla gear? Can't we have some kind of standing orders or standing rule that allows merchants to protect their assets? I mean lets think about this... I see another HEMT, box truck, show up to processing I know they just want to make money as well so I dont worry about it. I see two guys show up in a hatchback armed to the teeth....I KNOW they aren't processing. So what I would like, just to be clear, is that if you approach a vehicle with guns up, you are to be recognized as a threat and then the merchants get to have a chance in hell to defend themselves. In my honest opinion, in order to make it fun for everyone, there always has to be a solid balance between Risk and Benefit. If you have these guys who just drive up and point a gun at you and you are stuck processing it is pretty much zero risk for them to take that HEMT, and an enormous benefit. Just trying to help make things a bit more fair, ~Brown
  8. As long as Battlefield won't fail like it did with Hard Line and Star wars it will do fantastic. I just hope this time they do thorough beta testing and release a finished product. It has always been a better game than COD. I'm looking forward to it!

  12. I have these as well, picked them up on sale for 86 bucks Cdn. Great sound, good mic, no stupid software that you need to make it work. Price per quality you cant get better than this. I find these better than my previous Logitech G930, ANY Razer headset (tiamat, kraken). Matt
  13. Hello All! My in game name is Brown, I have been on here for about a week now and I figured it was about time to throw a post on here. I have been on Asylum #1, and am still learning how this whole thing works. I am 29 years old, and I am from Ottawa, Canada. In real life I work as an Advanced Care Paramedic, which I got into after four years in the Military. ARMA 3 has always interested me due to its military sim like aspect. My hobbies are obviously computer gaming, hence why i'm here! Eventually on this server I would like to eventually like to get white listed and pursue some positions within the server such as the Police. Also eventually I would like to help with moderation of the server as judging from my last week on here, seems to be severely limited (no offense intended, its hard to find good help.) In the meantime I figured out how to record on this server so I will try to do my part in reducing the amount of RDM/VDM on this server. With that out of the way, I look forward to RPing with all of you on here. Hit me up when you see me, always looking to make some good money on here. Cheers guys! ~Matt
