Interview room for cops

Recommended Posts

It doesnt seem unrealistic to expect to at least have rooms in HQs where cops could lock doors or even buildings that could be locked and unlocked by cops.....like a prisoner intake and sally port to allow them to process prisoners without a million chuckleheads coming in and pistol banging you in the back.

Or how about if you have someone in custody, their gang or group mates actually show red. So if they come walking into an HQ, police know what they know....which is that you are technically initiated. Cops should still have to role play before shooting, but at least they know that Mr. Civ walking in could technically kill you at any time because you have a member of their group in custody.

Or lets not make cops too overpowered? To be honest cops are already pretty strong even without HVT etc... being able to lock doors would just be too much.

So you cant rescue your friends from hq sounds pretty retarded

You can rescue your friends, get them before they make it into the HQ.

Or make it the same as a Prison Break. Make it where a diamond drill is needed to drill the door to the HQ building and it takes the same time as a bank.

It shouldnt be as easy as 3 guys running around like retards while you are trying to process and standing behind you and shooting you in the head.

I think a general lock-pickable door would be beneficial.  It is not too difficult for someone to lockpick, and in reality a cop would not be processing someone in the open anyways.  Or have a processing room at the prison like this, so if you want to take them to the prison rather than an hq you have to risk the transit being attacked, and then you can be a little more secure inside the prison behind a lock pickable door.  Or you could process them at any hq because :effort:

Cops are not op, civs can wear cop vests if they get them, and most cops cant wear csats...so that is a silly assumption, your average cop has much less armor than a civ and smaller caliber guns.

If the cops could lock players in a room to process them, it would Get rid of the risk/reward of trying to rescue your friends. At that point it would be pointless to attack an HQ.

As for the associates of the person in custody turning red, it’s not a bad idea but it would be easily solved if you just lock down HQ and not let unwanted civilians into the HQ.

I don't support making cops stronger as I think they are strong enough... But people shouldn't act as if cops should even stand a chance against civs lol

I would say as long as the doors can be lock picked and anyone that is or was being processed in one of those rooms can't be sent to jail if there is an active situation.  Or possibly no one being processed in that HQ can be sent to jail during active situation since APD has access to use those rooms.
