Major crimes

Cops didn't become cops to be budget Cartel fighters at a constant disadvantage, it's boring getting on cop to be repetedly go from bank to prison to Fed

- Remove Major crimes happening simultaneously 

- Add a flat cooldown between all Major crimes, about 30 mins

- Fix the cops tasking payouts for bank, prison, Fed                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            ( Every cop used to get the tasking but anyone getting it these days its about 2, also make it just payout to every cop at the end of the event because softloging removes it anyways

Yeah makes the oil processing a red zone and anyone with a gun that can cap will contest it and most likely cap. Makes oil pretty much like doing drugs. It needs to be moved. Not a lot of people do oil anymore, but it was good back when the system was different for cartels. The fridge system was actually pretty good ngl, would change the afk cap meta a bit. Maybe increase the cap on the amount of money can be in a fridge or have it so fridge fills up at 100k and everything past that goes into gang bank.

I agree with the payout maybe 20k to all cops if stopped, could be abused by people with rooks starting the prison, but you don’t see that often. I don’t want to see large cool downs in between events as it gives rebels not a lot to do because most of us do not care about robbing people and making money and we just want to fight cops. The 2 life rule works well with cops who just want to role play and patrol. If you don’t want to respond to a losing prison for 20 minutes no one is forcing you to.

Asylum already has Major crimes the Fed, Bank, Prison... how would you categorize them?

I was referring to your suggestions about them, not the major crimes themselves. Cool downs etc. are often found on modded servers

The Cartel pings are odd now,you sometimes get it or sometimes dont(not sure if thats how you meant to change it) .Used to ping every 5min i think.

Taxes are becoming more annoying with people just jacking them up to do so and load outs become stupid high around 30k for your normal mk1+y an meds(shouldn't be more the 20k imo).

not to sure how you could fix this with out just taking it out 100%(could help promote more fights at cartels,prob not by much but people might be more keen to come back after dying a couple times back to back with out having to grind out 2-3 hours to make up what they lost.

Gov,the job itself should have more to it i guess,atm all they do is spike the taxes an log out an sometimes they do it on both servers,so maybe limit it to only can actively be gov on one server at a time.

The races i think i did once when i first started playing,so that could be gone dont think anyone does them tbh.

could ifrits an orcas have a ever so slightly buff to glass damage so you dont get shot out in like 5-10 bullets,and maybe help promote some hot drops again,was one of the main reasons why i wanted to fly,there just cool to see too,Also since most cops on have 7.62 or the mxsw an seems like there being handed out more often then i ever remember.

Im sure there is more.

Im sure there is more.

Most cops only have access to the MX and MXM (cpl +)... only Lt+ have 7.62 and only captains have mxsw.

The only reason why I am against cool\downs.

What will stop people from starting a bank and leaving to troll or someone attempting to smash and grab the fed and now nobody can do anything for 30 minutes. Lot of troll potential.

It's a massive annoyance for everyone on the server and only benefits one person. Literally NOBODY wants to pay 20% extra for shit that goes to one person's pocket.

Leave the fuel tax that's fine and it makes more sense than charging Rebels and Cops 20% extra for all their shit.

Governor can/should be able to adjust fuel/gas tax, pardon 1 person per restart, send server messages, have the cool suit/tie, their own lockable office, and make weed legal/illegal, death row, etc. All fine things.

Legal jobs suck and bear no risk because of their low payout. I know the argument is that illegal should pay more "because illegal is more risky," but that only comes from the fact of player volume. Of course the better jobs will see more volume, and therefore more risk. I would argue better legal payouts will add more risk, because I know I would rob a legal job if it were worth it, but its not. Do you know how many Excavation Divers I robbed underwater back in the day? Very lucrative work. 

Merging Sand/Copper/Iron/Diamonds was silly. You're either farming diamonds or gathering crafting mats, no one really wants all the fluff in one place, let us gather what we want instead of getting pocket sand.

The NW quater of the map is a barren wasteland. Make something of that real estate please?

Lumber is actually one of the better legal jobs if you know where to farm for hardwood, but the lumber mills are completely useless for their added time and distance to be worth using. Selling out unmilled wood and gathering another load without milling it yields better than milling.

Garage fees need a rebalance. A box truck costs $900 to pull but a Van costs $100 to pull and holds a better inventory. and SUV is cheaper and slower than a Hatch Sport but costs 2x to pull.

The Shovel is still in the general store, do treasure maps even still exist?

Homeowners Talent.. Lots of Talents Really. Large Optimization needed.

I like painkillers. Just because you think it's an inconvenience doesn't mean it shouldn't be on a semi-realistic life server. The little details count. Wouldn't you rather feel the impact of being shot more than an arcade shooter? Realism is why I play arma 3. If all the small cool realistic details start getting removed for convenience  I'll just go do GTA RP or not play at all. Little things make big impacts.

I mean anywhere under 90 Health and you get the Arma cinluded blurring and all the other effects. Painkillers just feel like a stacked layer on top of a system that already exists, just my opinion, but good to hear others I suppose

Perhaps make it both require a talent and the instigator be in a gang. Then the cooldown is applied only to that gang.

Race events, Rebel tree needs work, no one uses assassin tree. Could do with buffing drug runner, some missions yield less than the 15k it costs to do them. Maybe add tempest trucks so we can autogather ingredients. At this stage of the game I think u need to buff money making slightly, no need for rebel above Kavala imo, maybe another skiptracer as there's only 2 on the island to get mxs etc whereas there's 5 rebels. Add more vehicles to the chop shop tasking like air vehicles. Could improve gathering speed of non illegal items slightly. Theres a bug with Sofia rebel where people games crash for some reason, could be related to oil cartel. You probably know all these things by now anyway but just my little input.

P.s Also roice is a beech.

 

Pps. Just found out heather mills did porn, check it out! She was sexy as fuk

First off, THANK YOU for all the work you've put in...hoping V2 will run clean and smooth!!!

- bring back the Asylum Exchange;

- implement more craftable items (CSAT's, Tactical/Raven/Carrier Lt Vests), Balaclava's, helmets, etc.), & SCOPES...please;

- remove DP missions;

- increase rubber payout for Oil Barrel Processing or implement a rubber tree to farm latex which can be processed into rubber;

- fix Scotch...we are currently paying the cartel to both process and sell...let's pick one like the illegal drugs;

- increase sea turtle payouts for guys who've abandoned it entirely;

- increase Mohawk inventory space since I've only seen two of them used by player in a year;

- a Pyrgos or Athira airshop would be nice

All of this makes sense to me except for the Athira airshop as there is one at the airfield. A Pyrgos airshop would be interesting to see, somewhere close to town unlike the Kavala airshop which is multiple kilometers away.

The number of cops online for doing 2 federal events at the same time was increased a while ago. Cops were able to handle a bank and a fed being done a long time ago with only 5 cops on at a time. So in my opinion the idea for removing the ability to have 2 going at one time is terrible. Generally speaking if you wipe a group of rebels doing a fed or whatever they wont start another bank/fed/prison for half an hour to an hour. For many people, the end game rebel life is stale. Further limiting the amount they can do within a restart is also a terrible idea if you ask me.

Just my 2 cents.

Too many cliques have formed in the APD. Back when I played the majority of promotions were given to those that deserved it. Whenever promotions were announced, you could see the names promoted and say "Yeah, they deserve it. I've played with them before and they're great roleplayers." Nowadays it's "Oh, he's the mong that always is stuck up the sergeants ass."

Obviously it's hard to break up the cliques, but there has to be some kind of quality assurance in place so that you don't have the vast majority of higher ups in the APD in the same short bus sharing crayons.

Losing people like Leon, Tanner, and Olivia (no matter how scummy her exit was) really hurt the APD's ability to improve the quality of officers. I know @TheCrestedPenguin used to do his best to host trainings, but they were often pissed on by other higher ups who just wanted to troll.

No idea how this post got turned around on the APD but all of the cops I've had to deal with have been quality guys with good knowledge of the guidelines. Robo-cop mentality has been addressed, RP'ing for greater discounts was immediately recognizable and officers not following the guidebook, I hear, are re-educated with points and supervision has been great. Of course, all this being said, I'm not a member of the APD so others might have a different view but for a guy who's been in custody a few hundred-thousand times, I speak from experience.

@Jesse Need a new way to make money that is on the same level as meth instead of just having meth due to how hot meth can be and when one big gang is on they control meth and prevent other players from doing meth and meth can be boring to do endlessly so need something new and refreshing, possibly a new drug that you can run on the top left portion of the map so you can  utilise that area of the map instead of having it just vacant, therefore allowing a larger spread around the map

Petition to have the fed robbing mechanics similar to the bank/prison.

 

Just throw a drill on one dome and 20 minutes later the door opens and you collect all bars. 

 

Would remove smash and grabs and you wouldn't need someone that spends the entire time drilling.
