New guy to motorcyles what bike should i get?

So this weekend I am seriously considering getting a Kawasaki Ninja 300 remember I am a beginner rider what bike do you think is best bank for the buck?

BRO I love you. Get a 2009 ZX6R. Fast as fuck and not too shabby on the price tag. It's a rice burner tho so if you're into American made go for a classic Harley chopper xD

Be careful if you don't have much experience.  Don't cheap out on the safety gear (armor jacket/pants, not just a helmet), and don't be this guy at parties trying to impress your friends:

Yeah safety first. You look dope as it is don't pop a wheelie and kills yourself. And as stated, don't cheap out on a helmet. get a good quality one from fox or some other good brand.

If you can afford to buy a bike, you can afford to buy the best gear you need. Don't joke around with safety. I'd say go with the Ninja. They have great resale value, and a 300(granted you aren't 3000 pounds), will be a wonderful first bike.

You'll want to look at a 600cc-650cc for the best bang for buck. There's a saying, "250's are fun. But you'll get tired of them quick."

I think you should look into R6's. Those are really nice bikes, and they're pretty damn cheap.

Ya i know the R6's are hot but i dont want to pay 10G's for a bike im lookin in the 5-8k range

I have seen some 05s built up, and tuned going for like 5-9k. Just gots to look.

I own a Gsxr-600 k7. I've had alot of previous experience, but this is my first "own" bike. 

If this is your first motorcycle and you are not that familiar with 2 wheels, I would say go with the Ninja 300. Its a reliable motorcycle and has good resale value.

And when you have been riding the shit out of it, for around a years time. Then consider moving up to a 600cc Supersport, IF you feel ready for it.

Or maybe you'll even consider buying a cruiser instead :-)

Thanks, i've had it for a little over a year now, rides like a dream.

Just got my Two brothers racing full system exhaust home yesterday and im getting it tuned in next month, cant wait

300 or 250cc is literally gutless, go higher, 600 is good, but you may wanna practice on the bikes they lend you when u get your license.
