****APD Policy Update 04/11/17**** UPDATED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

*****NEW ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS FOR APD SENIOR STAFF****

These activity changes are effective immediately come May 1st.

 

      Lieutenant

  • 16 Activities per month
  • 12 must be interviews
  • Briefings will no longer be required as they have proven to be ineffective 

 

      Sergeant

  • Sergeants now hold the responsibility of accepting/denying new applicants for the APD
  • 12 Activities per month
  • 3 must be ridealongs
  • Sergeants can no longer be marked inactive and still hold the rank

The Captains hold the right to demote Senior staff if it comes to the agreement that he/she is not actively contributing to the APD by holding his/her rank. 

 

*****APD POLICY UPDATES/CHANGES*****

These changes are effective immediately

 

Minimum civilian talents required to apply for the APD increased from 10 to 12.

Possession of Medic Equipment added with Possession of Police Equipment in the ticket guide. e.g.  A civilian who is not a paramedic wearing/owning a medic uniform or driving a Paramedic vehicle.

Minimum time period to retake a Interview/Exam after failing will be 24 hours. 

LT Cap reduced from 32 to 27.
