Mines are the most aids thing in Strife, imo.

i still feel like mines are less aids then being bombed by jets over and over again

When you spawn in make a few saved loadouts, it could just be your default + mine detector ect.

Once you have a mine detector you'll know either to proceed with caution or just sprint in.

Mines are aids, but the counter is available for everyone with little effort.

Being a mine placer yourself can be really satisfying though, i love trapping a road and just seeing a full prowler driving over it.
