Ideas for improvements to medic?

Hey all,

I play medic quite frequently on Asylum, probably more than my civ life, as I wait to become of age so I can apply for APD. But, I have some ideas to improve on the medic system, if anyone thinks these ideas could help.

First idea: Get better tracking systems for downed people requesting, having to open the map repeatedly takes time out of getting to the person, something that keeps it on screen without using the map would be nice.

Second idea: Maybe add in a pilot uniform? For when medics fly their helicopters?

Third idea: More vehicles, specifically helicopters, the little hummingbird we get I feel isn't the best.

Anyways, thanks for reading this, just some friendly suggestions, if all or any of these would be added would make our experience more enjoyable.

Thanks,

DisturbEDx02

1) Increase Payment of revives up to $1000

2) receive small payement amounts for splinting, bloodbagging and feeding painkillers to players. Let’s say $50 per painkiller, $150 for splint and $100 for bloodbag

3) Like you said more vehicles would be cool. Hatch sport medic vehicle for faster response times

4) Medic lives matter, have a separate charge for those who assault medics repeatedly

The patch notes i want to see

Medics are now socialists

All medic's receive 800$ when someone from the medic faction revives a player. This promotes medics working together instead of trying to snipe each other's revives, it also encourages medics to split up into other towns instead of sitting in Kavala 24/7

Hell yea, how do we bring this to a developer?

YES! Oh god, these ideas are so great, how do we get them to a dev? Or someone who CAN get them to a dev? Anybody know?

What I mentioned is something you can already do, it is apart of Arma 3 itself. I’m not sure the devs would prioritise medics; Arma is obviously seeing a decline in its player base and the rebel faction is our majority and needs the most right now rather than be thinned out into other factions. Write up solid suggestions with detail and they can be sent to the devs.

You could try to pm @bamf or @Gnashes about your ideas, but if you do go into detail about how some things would would , don’t half ass your pitch to them.

Another idea would be maybe increase medic slots from 6 to 8?

I think slots are fine. If server stability goes up and we get our overall server cap up to 110ish i could see adding another medic slot.

Whitelisting is fine as long as they don't change defibs anymore then they have or change any rules for the other 2 factions.

Defibs would need to be changed to limited use requiring a medic or hospital for full treatment. It’s the only way a whitelisted medic faction would make any sense on asylum. Also auto repair abilities for everyone would need to be removed so that EMS can provide repair or towing service.

I say if that's the case don't do it.

Defibs being the way they are now is one of 4 or 5 huge reasons many people who are still here have not gone to olympus.
