I didn't really want much for Christmas so I just got like 150$ so ig my budget is fairly small but any recommendations would be nice.

If you dont have DDR4 you could get that, AIO Water Cooler, new peripherals, new fans, or just save it torwards GPU/CPU upgrade down the road. Tons of other things $150 could get you as well. Specs list?

Just a regular fan.

An AIO would have much lower temps compared to regular fan. Also would allow you to overclock more safely in the future if you wanted.

NZXT and Corsair make some decent ones :D. If you are to buy an AIO make sure it supports your CPU’s socket type first!

Eh... Air works well as well. I'd go with a Cryorig C7 for the cpu, though Corsair does make good products, a H60 would work really well, or maybe a H100. He also can't overclock on that cpu but could buy a AIO just for down the road.

(if you want to go with RBG, the quad lumi looks good but is overpriced like all rgb stuffs)

Your cpu isn't unlocked so no point in buying an aio, any aftermarket air cooler is more than enough

Overclocking is huge in arma. I have a i5 4690k and overclocked I am getting 80-90 frames on altis life servers with 130 or so in cqc. Getting a liquid cooling system can allow you to overclock more because it can deal with the extra heat.

I would probably save up for an i7 9700k like $350 or a RTX 2070 which is 500-650

My apologies you are correct. Didn’t see he had a locked CPU. And for the cooler. Air is also effective but are often large and bulky. Really comes down to preference in this situation. Personally, I have the H60 and it has been perfect for the year or so I’ve had it. Has brackets for pretty much everything besides Ryzen. Good warranty too!@Hi Am Vedalkenn
