	split em into two teams with some sort of uniform identifier.<br /><br />
	option 1: 2-3 objects are placed in an underwater area (like some of those hidden underwater ruins or something) and the first team to pick up a majority of the items and bring em back to their base wins. winners get an admin gift or cash or something<br /><br />
	option 2: same thing as option 1, but its just a tdm. first team to 3 wins in a best 3 out of 5 or something gets rewarded. underwater and aquatic shit is underrated.

	<span>A sickness/plague has fallen on the island of Altis. The AFD is working alongside the APD to establish a base at ground zero. From the looks of it, Kavala will be under quarantine. Entry into and exit out of Kavala will be through one primary checkpoint. Weapons of any kind are prohibited in Kavala at this time. You and your vehicle will be searched at the checkpoint upon entry. Upon exiting Kavala, you will be searched again to verify that you have not taken the cure. During the quarantine, the APD will be protecting "the cure," while the AFD will be administering it to those who have fallen ill. Side effects of the illness will be comparable to drug withdrawal with added effects. The spread of the sickness will be at random. The "cure" during this event will be the pride and joy of the one or ones who get their hands on it. The cure will be sellable on the black market with a value worth more than gold. During the event, the number of cop slots will be increased to maximize defense.</span>

	governor dies, all drugs are legal or something for like... an hour. idk you think of the reward. governor lives, skill issue, cops get paid.<br /><br />
	There is no easter bunny, there is no tooth fairy, and there is no queen of england.

This event aims to foster more server-wide conflicts and make use of a previously overlooked area of the map.

	<strong>Event Description:</strong> In the <strong>Siege of Oreokastro</strong>, law enforcement and rebels face off for dominance over the strategically significant town of Oreokastro. This event focuses on revitalizing server-wide engagements and utilizing a neglected part of the map. The town features three critical flags: one near each faction’s spawn and one neutral flag in the center. Capturing and holding these flags, along with eliminating high-value targets, will determine the winner. Admin leaders will assist each faction, and all kits will be provided free of charge. Every participant will receive a 50k payout, and the winning faction will earn additional benefits that enhance gameplay for a week.

	No matter what this man is doing, he could be at dinner with his wife, at his sons little league baseball game, in a corporate meeting in a New York sky scraper, this dude could be confessing his sins in the booth, I do not care. Find this man and kidnap him, get him to release the code of his events to our current contributors / developers. I have never seen more phenomenal events in any arma 3 server at any point in time outside of this mans reign on Asylum. I personally regard it as art they were so good, jumping quad bikes, armed quad bike arena, dirty toilets, prostitutes, I'm probably missing some but these events were so well executed that I can vividly remember them like 7 years later. Mr Smirnoff, if this post reaches you, HELP PLEASE!!!

	<strong>Before  I start, my first memory on asylum probably 7-8 years ago was jumping in the back of a hemmt with a bunch of randoms and some dude leading us to go run weed for the very first time, then being chased down by cops, getting processed by the OG mr monopoly man, and falling in love with asylum right after.</strong>
</p>

	<strong>So my idea is short and simple, add onto it or just tell me I'm a dumbass, but it sounds good in my head for potentially retaining newer players and setting that "hook", but also  giving veteran players fun as well.</strong>
</p>

	<strong>Admins will spawn a box full of gear for all players, full rebel load outs, or troll pdw loadouts. Then admins will spawn in a couple 50 cals or minigun quilins, and a hemmt transport &amp; begin the journey. It could be something as simple as smirnoffs alcohol runs he used to do, or weed runs. </strong>
</p>

	<strong>Basically an admin event where gears supplied, interaction is present, and of course, cops try to stop "the convoy", and if successful, which is highly likely, still offer a compensation prize to those who participated. </strong>

	There should be weekly/monthly events that happen in game that are made by event coordinators. I know the tag existed and some people had it but that seems to have completely vanished. These events should be done so that they can freshen up the gameplay and encourage people to log in and have fun. These events would be simple but fun events that shouldn't require the devs and can be handled by event coordinators and admins. Some of the events that I can think of go as follows: 
</p>

<p>
	APD Convoy event: pretty standard with the APD transporting a vehicle with valuable goods inside of it from Point A to B etc. Rewards are the goods inside the vehicle that can be sold at rebel / drug dealer. if APD deliver to location they get a flat $ payout. 
</p>

<p>
	HVT Target: A person of high value ( can be a member of the government, some in game group whoever) has been located on the island and is defended by a group of players (can be APD, members of a gang etc). It is everyone's objective on the island to attack the location the HVT is at (location can vary, numerous locations that can be used on the map) and kill the HVT. if the HVT is not killed by any group the HVT and the defenders get a flat $ payout. Rewards can vary from money to frits etc for any group of attackers. 
</p>

<p>
	Cartel lockdown: Cartel lockdown would be relating to a cartel on the map where any groups must fight over a cartel. The objective is to have your group in control of the specified cartel before a timer runs out. Whoever has their name in the cartel when the timer ends will be considered the winners. Rewards can be $, ifrits etc. 
</p>

<p>
	Rebel Arsonists: A group of rebels are trying to send a message to the government by setting houses on fire in a major city on the island. The APD has to do their best to try and stop them and to defend members of the AFD that are attempting to put out the fires. any group can participate in setting fire to the designated city. With each house burned down participating rebel groups get 20k. With every house left standing the APD gets 20k. 
</p>

	These are just some of my ideas that I came up with but I'm sure more can be easily thought up. If anyone has any other ideas for events post them in the comments and I'd be glad to copy and paste them into here.

	Sept monthly event idea where civs compete to get the largest bounty, and cops try to get the bounties.

	Each civilian that signs up would start off with a 0 bounty, and would have X amount of time to get their bounty as high as possible ( preferably around two weeks to a month to get an even higher payout ). The top three civs with the highest bounty would get a certain percentage of what they are wanted for, maybe a few other rewards as well. The top three cops would get a certain amount of money, a few pieces of armor depending on what rank they are, as well as some prestige.

	Id like to see some banger rewards come out for the events since this would be a longer event lasting up to a month.

	Players are in teams, driver and gunner. Gunners get rpg, drivers get some shitter gun that has little to no range. 1 rocket per gunner. You are in a jeep or offroad. Players start far away so to not get rpg'ed right away. Crates/prowlers are spawned on map for reloads or to switch to a prowler. Maybe the goal is to get inside a building that is unlocked after a certain amount of time where either the driver or gunner have to hold it for a certain amount of time?

	I've been watching a bit of Arma videos recently and I had a couple ideas for new events.  I think that the past couple community events have been good, but a few shorter ones could also be fun.  Most of these I had envisioned would be for just a weekend, but they could also be different lengths.  Maybe even as short as a restart for some of them, sort of like Ark SOTF used to be.

	This is pretty simple, for a weekend the only weapons you would be able to pick up would be for example handguns only, or shotguns only.  Those were the first two I thought of but maybe hunting rifles could be a fun one as well.  I imagined that it would be done similarly to how it used to be with talents and holding 7.62's, so you would only be able to hold a certain type of weapon, and maybe others are temporarily removed from the store.

	I think this could be fun to do every once and a while and there could be a lot of different prizes.  Similarly, to how it was last year when they did the wipe weekend this would be a day or a weekend every once and a while where the server would use a blank database.  At the end of the event prizes would be given out for Most money earned in the weekend, highest bounty earned, most blood money earned, most arrests, etc.  Maybe some OP weapons or some blood money/ifrits could be given to the winners.

	Either different events are disabled or get boosted benefits for a limited time.  Maybe Gas Stations are reduced in number temporarily and the benefits are increased and APD responses tweaked.

	This is fairly straight forward in that for a limited time charges would be worth twice as much as they currently are.  For this one you would have to make an exception for the players that are classified as new (how it is for the searching thing).

	These could be broader and almost operate as a quest system, but maybe on any given day/restart there is a running competition for who can process the most cocaine, or make the most money, or get the most blood money.  These would be maybe daily challenges and there could be automated rewards for getting 1st,2nd,3rd.
