thats why your server has no numbers. this logic is the most broken shit ever. you bring in irl logic to a video game is why you can't get any more new players to do runs. cuz they wipe cops and get fucked. irl cops will go in a squad of 6-8+ not 2 here, 1 die, more come, they die, 2-3 more come. its overkill. this might have worked 8 years ago when asylum had 4 servers and they were all hard to get into.. now, with 40max players  youre cop force is like a massive foot stomping on the cockroaches(civs)
go in once, full force. if you die gtfo for 25mins. let newbies make money and have fun seeing it through.
you wanna bring irl logic? how the fuck are handcuffs irl stopping bullets from killing you? ohh but when it comes to cops, you altar how physics work cuz waaah i cant process anyone cuz their friends friendly fire. get good put em in a car around a corner, drive off, have cops guard the HQ so ppl cant run in and kill their friends. get good dont change it cuz ur ass.
in what world does capping a flag have money automatically go into a bank account? when i sell my drugs to a drug dealer its straight cash, he aint taking debit card and taxing my ass. thats what drugs are on the black market for, not pharmcuticals. your logic makes it seem like drugs are coming from a federally owned pharmacy where you're allowed to tax since its the GOVERNMENT. rebels aint cops stop twisting it up. your fridge made alot more sense and created user interaction. specially when ppl will beat them to rebel for the money.

if im being shot at irl, you goddam rite imma swurve into the hobag to save my life. nope, here ur getting a ban. killing server slowly.
you have body bags, combat logging should be allowed. here? nope were gay and wanna robo cop and call it rp
you wanna talk about rp and your cops are absolute shit at it. people will roleplay if they feel like it, and a cqc/koth mode will strengthen rp outside of it.
beep boop bop beep you have the wrong people in charge and this is the outcome. gg
in real life, the fbi/cia put bounty's on high value targets. not your average punk. it ruins the flow of the game having to turn myself into jail before i do a run. i dont think you should have ppl ping at drug dealers or get apb's unles 75k-100k bounty so people can play without worrying so much bout getting caught. olympus has a good method where u can pick up any bouty. asylum would also benefit from this so we aint always goint to jail before a run
you have a ton of gear that can be added but you refuse to add it. if you have a koth/cqc/domination mode within asylum, they can be extremely active combat zones, especially if these are rewards you get from a certain rank or enough blood money. in this mode, you can unlock an armed helicopter if your gang captures enough points or w/e..

then you change the server up for ppl you dont like so increased jail time and you remove stuff for certain ppl lmao. your numbers are an outcome of your admin/dev team.. why do you hold community meetings, and then tell people to 'go make your own server' if you dont like their idea/suggestion? im not here to make friends but to tell you what would make an arma3 server gain players. you need another mode for newbies to get good and experienced players or a bigger gang of average players can have an end game to look forward to being 'new' gear/weapons and armed helicopters that can either be used across the map or only within. like jail, you can teleport people back into this zone if they leave with items only meant for this mode. this would probably strengthen roleplay when theyre running drugs cuz they were fighting for so long.
lets be honest, your rules might have had structure to it when there was 4 active servers. now with how dead asylum is, its time to loosen up and change bans to a few hours and 3 day being max. over the years you banned people for some really stupid crap and this is the outcome.

server rules need a serious revamp. if there was a black market to craft guns above cartels, people will buy more houses in that area to stock up for cartels. not buy 20mil from the few meth runners and spam gear sets from the green zone...
but nope, you are still arrogant and need to feel like your right when the numbers prove you're wrong but you guys just can't seem to wrap your head around the fact you're doing it wrong and continue to think inside the box.
you can get the best ideas in the world and youd deny them...for example. delete domination server  and implement it or some type of koth/cqc in the smaller towns, that once capped you can drive a car to the next flag.. but have it like gta where you control certain territories/towns and spray paint your gang tag on walls. i think you need something else thats an active constant battleground other than cartels/turfs. when civs get high bounties in this area, this gives bounty hunters/cops more people to chase w/ high bounty's. extra points if you kill cops inside.
giving new/average players something else to fight at instead of getting mopped at a cartel. cartels are for experienced fighters not newbies. they can get better if you had a new mode to help w/combat instead of logging out to go play koth you should try to think of something where u can purchase new gear once you get enough points or w/e
mass unban everyone unless they script/cheat with godmode
stop being so brutal with your rules and you wont get harshly criticized+youll get more ppl on the server not getting banned for shit that has zero effect on anything.
example "i ram my car into a group of 6 ppl in athira and get out or drive off. dont ban him for a week dumbfuck, call the cops and charge the uy for 6 hit and runs. you see my point? its a video game you're servers dead cuz u use irl logic and its the gayest shit ever holy fuck get it through your fucking head already
this map worked when arma3 was fairly new but most grew out of it... asylum has the potential to be active 24/7 if you do things like this...
add a flag at meth lab so bigger gangs will fight at meth lab to process > having to cap drug cartel.
this will give more incentive for new gangs to form up and take over meth lab.
once flag is capped it cant be capped for 30mins. its to hard to cap drug cartel then start processing unless you're in a gang w/numbers where u can defend drug while ppl are running meth. you need something else to help new/less experienced players to go and fight so its not just cartels.
with flag capped you can process hiesenberg/coke bricks/pure heroin/hash>only weed, without it capped you can only single process. giving players more of a reason to join a gang than try to run solo cuz once flag is cappe by 1 guy uk ppl will eat him alive and steal his drugs, helping gangs get bigger cuz ppl will wanna run drugs w/o getting robbed and then be able to run banks, fed cuz drugs built up their numbers.

tl;dr wait for arma4 cuz asylum never going to get it right and olympus is ass

I saw a lot of abuse with parole and obviously policies only stop those conscious of what they are doing from abusing it and not the real problem of people who aren't realizing how much they are doing it or people who don't care. I think if possible it would be nice to add parole back but maybe only allow one use per officer per restart. This would gatekeep overuse, maybe not abuse, but at least overuse... Maybe start with Sgt+? Look at how it all pans out and either remove it again, keep it to Sgt+, or if successful, add it to Corp+ and so on and so forth? Just my two cents, but I am interested in seeing how others view this or how they would suggest keeping it as a "rare" event that takes good RP and isnt overused.

"Alright faggot, let’s get something straight. You’re out here ranting about V2 like it’s Zion and you’re the chosen one. Hate to break it to you, but you’re not fighting for freedom—you’re just another Matrix slave worshipping a video game.
“Years grinding V2”? Bro, you’re flexing your fake grind like it’s a 9-figure business. Meanwhile, the Matrix has you locked up tighter than a V3 safe zone. The system’s got you wasting your time chasing pixels bitching on forums while the real world is out there waiting for you to do literally anything productive.
You’re blaming V3 for your problems, but the truth is, you’re too scared to unplug. Too scared to start over. Too scared to face the fact that maybe—just maybe—your entire V2 “grind” was nothing but an illusion. You’re not a victim of a server wipe, you’re a victim of your own lack of fucking ambition.
You want to escape the Matrix? Here’s a cheat code: get off your ass and start grinding in real life. Build something real. Stack actual cash. Get some real bitches on your dick. Lift weights that exist. Hell, even just learn a new skill that isn’t “pressing W.” Stop being a slave to your fake achievements and start making moves in the world where it counts.
While you’re too busy reminiscing like some boomer at a high school reunion, I’ll be out here flexing in the Lambo, cruising by with the windows down, blasting music you can’t afford on speakers you’ll never touch. Keep grinding that keyboard, champ. Someone’s gotta keep the server alive while the rest of us are out here winning."

Add parole back in for release day. Civilians can agree to parole if they wish to not go to jail and were non hostile. Add that shit back.

If you go back and re read the comments, it was all directed towards people who have been here as long as I have or longer. Most of them are now no longer apart of this community due to poor choices being made. I do not speak down to new players, I help them and so does most of Crimson. We often would rob them, see they were new and let them go. This is Asylum, shit talk is the biggest source of content in this community and has been that was for the past 10 years. I apologize if I hurt your feelings because I called you bad in a decade old video game.

I never really came to Asylum for the RP. A very very small percentage of the fun I have had here was through RP beyond "hands up or die." I wasn't limited to cartel fighting by any means, but it was a large part of what I did and I loved and still love this community. However, you are right when you say that egos got involved but it was less with cartels and more with domination.
I would equate domination/conquest/whatever the other servers have to DDT. For those who don't know DDT was an insecticide used in America and the rest of the world. It was very dangerous for your long term health and caused birth defects and a host of other problems. However, what it did do was kill insects incredibly effectively for long periods of time. It was so efficient that it virtually wiped out malaria ridden mosquitoes in the United states. In my opinion that is a net positive, as malaria is one of the biggest killers world wide. My point being Domination/conquest was a net positive. It kept the community alive when it likely would have otherwise failed. That being said, at the same time it ended up being a huge factor in what diminished Asylums player base into competitive ego filled kids with montages. It's not the main reason we have a dying community, but it is a big one.

"Bro, of course you'd say that. Only a dude on welfare, stuck in the Matrix, sitting in his mom's basement eating instant noodles, would write something like that. ‘Nobody with money needs to reinforce it’—yeah, because you wouldn’t know what money even looks like, dork. I’m not out here convincing anyone, I’m out here winning. The only thing I’m convincing you of is how much better my life is while you’re sitting there in your Walmart sweatpants, talking tough from your $200 Craigslist setup.
And that whole ‘you dress like a woman’ line? Adorable. I could wear a ballerina outfit, roll up in a Bugatti, take your bitch, and leave your fat ass sitting like a dork in your Amazon Basics gaming chair. Meanwhile, you're struggling to find the ‘start’ button on life. You’ll be watching me from the sidelines, crying into your pillow and eating discount cereal. Top G level, Stay mad, bro. I’ll wave from the top.”

"Games? See, that’s why you’re still stuck in the fucking Matrix. While you’re busy pressing buttons like a dork, I’m out here pressing weights and closing deals. I’ve got businesses making money every minute, cars in my driveway, real assets stacking up. You’re chasing virtual trophies - I’m out here collecting real power. I already beat the game, it’s called life, and I’m on God mode. Real Top G shit. You wanna win? Stop playing your little games and start playing the real game. Hustle, make money, and take control of your future, bro. Wake up."

Most cringe line I've ever read.
Nobody who cheats ever admits to cheating. Your record on steam doesn't lie. You obviousness in S2 Dom doesn't lie. There's a reason everyone is screaming "This paki fuck is lazering people from across the map, hello admins?" You aren't good. Nobody thinks you are good. Once a cheater, always a cheater just like your brother.

Aren't you from Kuwait? Relax bro. The only "pussy" you get is from camels, and goats, and other barnyard animals that can't scream for help or file charges against you. And the  only reason you go that route is because your women look like Wookies from star wars and the government will stone you if they catch you sneaking off to gay bars at night to kiss the homies.

    Asylum Community,
Its been a few weeks and we wanted to update everyone on where we are, and what the next steps are for Asylum. We have kept you all in the dark, a mistake that we will not make again.  When we bought the server we had a plan, step one of which was to make a fully functioning S1 domination event, after having satisfied cartel fighters for a little bit we would turn to the civilian population to continue to develop for the RP side of asylum.
That didn't happen, we patched on a Sunday night to get Domination and a few other events out to you guys. We proceeded to get DDOSed for a week straight. We ended up sidetracked trying to get the server to a more secure position. Every time we gained traction, we would be DDOSed. We then turned our focus back to Domination, fixing a number of bugs that were missed during testing. We then were faced with another problem. A series of now-former staff members(No not Vortex and Louie for all of you dm'ing them lmao) attempted to ruin the community and attempted to dox and harass more and more of our staff members in an effort to run them off. These are the same staff members who have volunteered their time and effort for years, and have stuck with us even through this administration change.
This isn’t meant as an excuse, but rather an explanation as to why development has been slow, why communication has been lacking. We have been trying to stop the bleeding on the backend, which has caused us to fall short on the front end.
This is our plan, to you our community members, of what we are going to do and when we are going to do it:
Fundamental change in direction: Our focus is returning to where it has not been for years, at the civilian and RP population. We are working on ideas like vehicle insurance, a sheriff system, reworking drug fields and money making methods in general, refreshing dated and hard to use UI’s, a prestige system to unlock exclusive titles and rewards, a rework of the tutorial to better guide new players in the right direction, an in-game warning system for minor rule violations and more that centers around the roleplay and community aspect of Asylum.
After careful deliberation and discussing it with the team we have also decided it is in the playerbases best interest to conduct a merge of the V2 and the V3 databases (not housing) to best suit our playerbase and respect the time they have spent on the server for the last 10+ years.
While we will be primarily focusing on the roleplay and community aspect, combat will not be forgotten with the release of the improved S1 domination and a new federal event. We will also be releasing a special version of S1 domination with more details following soon.
To bring this vision to life, we need time. We are not satisfied with the current state of the server and it doesn’t reflect the quality or experience we want to provide. Therefore, we’ve decided to temporarily lock the server to focus entirely on its overhaul. Our target for a big release that will finally be worthy of being called “V3” is November 22nd, and during this downtime, we will provide regular updates via Discord and the forums to keep everyone informed on our progress.
We understand that asking for your trust now might feel like a tall order, especially after everything that’s happened and our failure to follow up on on certain commitments. We’re not asking for blind faith, but we are asking for a chance. We’re just people trying to make Asylum the place we all know it can be.
This place is not done yet.
    -Fitz/Obi/Mitch

  21. GravL liked a post in a topic by SNOOOP in Proposal for the Introduction of Special Response Teams (SRT)
Objective: To enhance the APD's ability to handle barricaded suspects and provide a new role for SWAT officers, ensuring more effective responses to high-stakes situations where suspects have barricaded themselves.
    Current Issues:
SWAT's primary role often revolves around Federal Emergency Dispatches (FEDS), leaving gaps in handling barricaded suspects. Lower-ranked officers frequently encounter barricaded suspects without sufficient options or resources. High-ranking officers (LT+) are not always available, which limits the response capabilities for barricaded situations. SRT Overview: SRT will be a specialized unit within the APD designed to handle situations involving suspects who have barricaded themselves inside a building. This unit will offer a new challenge for SWAT officers and provide crucial support in resolving high-risk situations.
    Activation Requirements for SRT:
    Personnel Requirements:
1 SRT CPL (Corporal) to lead the team on scene. 4 SRT officers in attendance (excluding the SRT CPL). Situational Requirements:
The suspect must have a bounty of 50K or more. The suspect must be actively shooting out of the building at officers or civilians. Operational Procedures:
    Announcement of Intent:
The SRT CPL must announce their intent to breach the property to the suspect via direct chat. The announcement should read: "THIS IS SRT CPL [Name]. YOU HAVE 15 SECONDS TO EXIT THE BUILDING AND SURRENDER YOURSELF. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN A BREACH." Breach:
If the suspect does not surrender within 15 seconds, the SRT will initiate a door breach. This will involve a 10-second interaction to breach the door, rather than a simple unlock, ensuring a more realistic and methodical approach. Priority Rule:
If a FED is active, it takes priority over the house raid. All SRT members must return to the nearest PD and reroute to the FED. Additional Benefits:
    Leadership Development:
Provides CPLs with valuable experience in leading tactical operations, which is beneficial for those aspiring to become SGTs in the future. New Charges:
Introduces a new charge for "Barricaded Suspect" with a maximum fine of 20K, applicable if the suspect does not surrender within the given timeframe after the breach announcement. New Skins:
Opens the door for new skins for SRT uniforms and vehicles, providing a distinct visual identity for the SRT unit and enhancing the overall game experience. Conclusion: The introduction of SRT will provide the APD with a more structured and efficient approach to handling barricaded suspects. It will also offer SWAT officers new goals and responsibilities, enhance operational effectiveness, provide leadership development opportunities for CPLs, and introduce new customization options for uniforms and vehicles.

i did use CHATgpt for all this but i had to come up with the idea first and type what i wanted Chatgpt to do they just cleaned it up and made it look nice.
