    Hopefully it’s in a state where they actually prosecute and people get serious prison sentences. Where I’m at, we had a hit and run, vehicle versus pedestrian in a cross walk, driver was DUI (twice the legal limit) and the kid died. The driver took a plea deal and got five years in prison, but I’m sure he will get out in three on good conduct. DUi laws are fucking ridiculous.

    Around here they usually get 1 year if that

    I'll be submitting this idea as a suggestion to the Captains with a longer and more detailed explanation with examples on how this would work imo.

    Im hoping I can change something for the better :)

    Good luck @Sandwich hopefully they take it seriously. It really isn't fair to the higher-ups that they get the same pay as a cadet while having to spend a crap ton. This has my full support.

    If anything is to come from this thread, it should at least be the rank paycheck idea. Again like my point a month ago, the higher up in the chain of command you are in real life, the better the pay.

    Example: (every 5 minutes)

    Cadets-> 150

    Constables-> 350

    Corporals-> 600

    Sergeants-> 800-900

    Lieutenants-> 1,000-1,200

    *pay could vary

    Sergeants would be able to make back 1/3 of what they paid for their hunter in one hour of game time. Corporals could make a decent amount back for when they go UC and die. LTs could make more than enough to support them if they pull Striders/heavier weaponry/vehicles.

    Again, it's just an addition to an idea previously mentioned, but this is just giving a better visual example. I'm not sure if changing pay like that could happen, but I don't see what the problem would be, or what a counter argument to this would be besides, "it's a game, doesn't follow real life stuff."

    That in my opinion is a decent plan maybe with a little tweaking to the amounts but a solid plan. +1

    I like that idea. Makes sense in a real world perspective too tbh.

    Increase the bounty cap from 150k.

    The only two viable ideas in my opinion.

    In my opinion the main issue with the arresting officer being the only one getting paid or getting paid more is it will go back to the days of officers fighting constantly for the bounty.
