We know it's been a wild couple of months here on Asylum.  We've made a lot of changes and are continuing to do so to enhance the Asylum experience.  As we look towards a better Asylum community, we want to thank all of our loyal players for sticking around to make this place what it is.  
In the last 10+ years we have had a lot of ups and downs, from dealing with the depths of the pandemic, to Turkish lawyers, and rough days at work, this community has always been a place for people to come together to be away from the outside world.  We just want to thank everyone for being a part of this crazy community we call Asylum.

Please welcome our newest Senior Admin @Innate.  Please give him time to get used to his role.  Otherwise, feel free to message him non-stop.
Many of you may already know, but there has been some recent drama in Asylum in the last few days.  A fellow admin had chose to take advantage of his powers and abilities to make bad decisions.  This is not what the Asylum Staff represents, and we encourage any one who witnesses any kind of behavior as such to come forward to the Staff Team/Owner if you see anything odd going on.  Our job is to maintain the server and it's integrity.  Many of us have been around for a long time and some of us have been around since the beginning, including myself (Boomer).  We want everyone to continue having a fun time, and to trust the staff team with any questions you may have going forward.

In the spirit of Halloween - We are opening moderator applications again!  If you think you have what it takes to be a member of our staff team then feel free to apply.  Keep an eye out in the coming days for the moderator application section to open again.

What's a director of development?

As many of you know, Ronald has decided to step down from the position of Senior Admin. I would like to personally thank you @Ronaldfor all that you have done during your time here with the Admin Team. The community surely would not be the same without you. I know you aren't leaving so this isn't a goodbye, but you will be missed on the team.
That being said, I'm sure I will see you in your home town of Athira every so often. My car may even make accidental contact with you here and there. Thank you again Ronald!
 
With the sad news being out of the way, I would like to congratulate @Witz on his promotion to Director of Development. You've been putting out awesome content for the community for quite some time and I cannot wait to see what you bring next! Thank you for your continued support on the development side of the community.
 

Added to exploiting
Shedding/unlipping vehicles into structures  Intentionally unflipping a vehicle into a structure/object or closing a door/gate to destroy a vehicle that doesn’t cause the death of another player shall now be considered exploiting. Intentionally soft logging after being revived/reviving another player to bypass the revive cooldown is considered an exploit

With the addition of the small circles marked on every drug dealer/wongs the below has being removed and now falls under the "within the circle" red zone ruling.
Removed;
Interaction range.
Wongs, Drug Dealer - The target must be within range of using the NPC/Sign.  
Added;
Harassment Addition
Bringing anything that is personal to a player into ANY public space of Asylum, without their explicit permission is not allowed.

Hello all, The Design Team is again on the hunt for new designers/artists!
What you will be doing
Creating skins (EX. Asylum+ skins, Faction skins, crate skins) Creating Icons Listening to the community Working closely with the developers Requirements
You must be able to prove that you are capable of creating designs or illustrations digitally Willing to take and give constructive criticism No age requirements but handle the role maturely You do not need to know how to put the skin in the game but you must be willing to learn this process Must be able to handle a deadline Design Team Perks
