Yeah, maybe even add a Jewelry Vault upgrade to houses for a price, like the Aging Barrel and Lead Container Upgrade, so that you could store Jewelry Fabricator items inside of it.

Already talked about in Discord but:
Jewelry Fabricator items should be different from FEDs so we could store them inside our homes. All crafting items from Black Market Production are storable, almost all farming materials are also storable, so why shouldn't these be storable as well?
A solution would be to just replace Jewelry Fabricator items with new items that are not dropped on FEDs, so we could store it. Same icons, but different names. Or add an African Warlord to the West side of the map.
Also DP14 and DP15 houses are all bought up and the prices will go up even more, East side of the map already got enough action from Meth alone.

Added:
Seasonal Santa Event: Santa flies around the map but the government of Altis doesn't seem too understand he is only here to bring presents, therefor he gets shot down out of the sky resulting in a crash location with valuable loot for players to grab. Christmas trees and presents: Christmas trees in every major city. The christmas tree has presents underneath. You can unpack one every day until the tree is gone. (starts at 14 december) Gas Mart Robberies Two Russian drug-lords have moved to Altis to aid in the sale of sanctioned Russian crude. Ivan and Hugo have opened “legitimate” Gas Marts on the island to help launder their ill-gotten gains. Go to the gas marts and use a diamond tip drill to open the door to the back room! After 10 minutes the door will open and you will have access to Ivan & Hugos illegal loot. 3+ APD officers required to be online in order to start these robberies.
* These do count as federal events, you cannot start one while another fed event is active. You can also buy gas here while we wouldn’t advise doing so during an active event. Gathering Trucks Ivan and Hugo have brought with them Russian technology for extracting valuables from
the earth: Tempest Transport Vehicle augmented gathering at quarries, increases storage, and gather speed significantly Tempest Fuel Truck Vehicle augmented gathering to be used at the two Goldpan/excavation sites by Kavala and Sofia, turn this puppy on and watch it suck water into the tank and filter out those valuable antiquities. Metal Refining Added the ability to roll metals into more valuable versions. It takes three ingots/doubloons/pieces to roll into one rolled metal. Metal Refinery (Legal)
You can now further process Iron and Copper ingots into rolled iron and rolled
copper. These heavy rolls of metal are highly sought after for marine
construction, process them at the Metals Refinery in Kavala and Sofia, and sell
them at the commodities trader.
Antiquities Forge (Illegal)
You can now break down gold doubloons and silver pieces at the Antiquities
Forge. Since you are melting artifacts the APD is highly incentivized to protect
Altisian history, rolled silver and rolled gold are illegal.
Sold at Wongs Triad or crafted into jewelry.
APD Charge: Possession of Illegal Antiquities – $7,500
Jewelry Crafting
With the influx of raw materials from the illegal melting of antiquities two Jewelry Manufacturers have moved into the Black-Market Production complex. Bring raw metals here and craft jewelry, including Rolex/AP watches, Cuban bling and engagement rings.
APD Charge: Possession of Illegal Jewels - $10,000
Recipes:
Rolex Watch: 2 rolled gold, 2 rolled silver, 2 cut diamonds
AP Watch: 2 rolled gold, 2 rolled silver, 2 glass
Engagement Ring: 2 rolled gold, 2 flawless diamonds
Cuban Link: 2 rolled gold, 2 roller silver, 2 flawless diamonds
Pixie Dust (Illegal)
There has been an increase in Russian drug activity on the island since Hugo and Ivan
moved in, fortunately they don’t know how to strap down cargo very well. Keep your
eyes peeled to the skies for falling containers of Russian goulash!
Random event (Like UFO/Earthquake)
“A drug container has fallen out of a plane and is now crashing to earth”
Only triggered when 50+ players online.
Spawns a temporary gather zone for gathering of Pixie Dust, a highly
sought-after party drug.
Process Pixie Dust at the Purification Factory.
Sell to drug dealer for cash, Pixie Dust is very toxic, thus the Altis Homeowners Association has banned its storage in houses.
The container will de-spawn after 20 minutes, go gather while you can!
APD Charge: Possession of Pixie Dust – $12,000
Custom Cartel Flags for gang subscribers:
ACP rounds added to the hunting grounds.
SWAT can now choose their spawn location including Mobile HQ when deploying.
APD Charges:
Possession of Illegal Jewels: $10,000
Possession of Illegal Antiquities: $7,500
Possession of Pixie Dust: $12,000
Gas Mart Robbery: $10,000
Illegal Vehicle Disassembly: $500
Warning message when the fuel of a gathering device is almost empty.

Mandalorian 2.0 liked a post in a topic by Brandice in Assassin's Shop (Rotating end-game loot vendor)
For years rebels and bounty hunters have asked for certain kit pieces that APD have regular access to, but for balancing reasons are never made buyable to the civ population. What if there was a way, albeit heavily limited, to acquire these items without having to abduct cops?
Concept: Add an NPC known as the Assassin Shop or Fixer Shop that sells a limited stock of high value end-game items such as police clothing, black guns, suppressors, bipods, and possibly even a mid range scope such as the MOS (5x max zoom). The Assassin would have a limited supply of these special items, with his stock being random based on restart. For example, one cycle he may have a set of police black NVGs, a rifle bipod, and a handgun suppressor, while the next he might have a mag of 7.62 downing rounds, a black PO7, and a police hat.
Balances:
•The items would be one time buys, so once the three or so items are bought the Assassin is out of stock for the rest of the cycle. All prices would be nothing short of exorbitant as all items for sale are smuggled APD equipment, likely a minimum of 100k for even the most benign items.
•To make the shop more exclusive, the NPC would be hidden in highly obscure, unmarked locations; the top of an old hiking trail in the forest, in the back alley of a destroyed village with nothing of value around, tucked away in an alley on the outskirts of one of the bigger cities, etc. The Assassin would be rotated to a new, secret location every restart, preventing him from being easily farmed. I am not sure if making the location rotate to entirely fresh locations without repetition is feasible for the devs, so please comment if it isn't possible.
•To add risk, all purchases must be made with cash, however the Assassin will not have an inbuilt ATM like rebel. Buyers must risk carrying large amounts of cash.
•As a counter to the Assassin, the APD might be allowed to "arrest" the NPC if they find him before civs do, closing him down for the rest of the cycle. This could even be made into a mini-event for APD to defend the scene as he is arrested while civilians try to disrupt the arrest (5-10 minute defense of the random location around NPC).
•If added, APD might create a special charge for all contraband that is on the list, or increase the weight of "Possession of Police Equipment" to add more risk for civs who use the Assassin's Shop.
Suggested Prices: (PRICES INTENDED TO BE MONEY SINKS, MAY NOT REFLECT PRACTICAL VALUE)
Police Vest, NVG's, Hat, Rangemaster Clothing: $100,000 per article
Black PO7 Handgun: $100,000
Black SPAR-16: $150,000
Black MK-1 (Black 7.62s): $200,000
Downing 7.62 mag(x1): $25,000
Bipod: $150,000
9mm Suppressor: $150,000
.45 ACP Suppressor: $150,000
5.56 Suppressor: $200,000
6.5 Suppressor: $250,000
7.62 Suppressor: $300,000
MOS (5x Magnification): $300,000
OTHER WEAPONS/EQUIPMENT COULD BE ADDED AT HIGHER PRICES AS FURTHER MONEY SINKS
ALL LISTED ITEMS COULD BE SOLD TO THE ASSASSIN FOR THE SAME VALUE (INCENTIVE FOR THEFT OF POLICE EQUIPMENT)
Justification: Late game on Asylum leaves something to be desired. There are groups and even individuals with so much money that pulling a frit is like pulling a hatchback. If this shop is added, you will see players dumping their money into these at every opportunity. Due to the limited stock and the general secrecy of the shop, it would take a very long time for any of the items to proliferate. Players who acquire a high value item would likely be less willing to risk throwing them away, saving them for major fights. Also, the remote locations would force players to actually explore the map rather than sit in one city or field all day.
If any of the items on the list seem either too cheap or impossible to balance, please do not dismiss the entire concept out of hand. The concept of a secret, moving shop would get people to explore the more quiet parts of Altis, whatever is needed to balance his inventory is a welcome suggestion.

Defragments liked a post in a topic by Brandice in KAVALA POLICE DEPARTMENT ~ [CLOSED INDEFINITELY]
INTRODUCTION
2022 - Crime is up 236% across the island, and there is no end in sight. It's clear that the state police (APD) are mired by incompetence and corruption. With no one to turn to, the people of Kavala have formed their own private police force, the Kavala Police Department, to take back their city! The KPD is in need of new officers (like you) to help keep our fair city safe.
The KPD is a privately funded organization that answers only to the City of Kavala. We offer our officers the finest training in the use of firearms, vehicle operation, and civil interaction. KPD fields it's officers with the finest weapons and uniforms, straight from the Kavala Armory. We work in close cooperation with the various defending militias in Kavala to maximize our effectiveness. Join the KPD to see why we're widely considered the best law enforcement agency on the island.
Would you like to know more? Read below for application instructions.
REQUIREMENTS
[•1•] KPD is first and foremost a roleplay gang. While we absolutely care about winning the fights, what matters most is how we portray ourselves beforehand. If you aren't interested in playing the role of a crooked cop, a career in the KPD is not for you.
[•2•] Officers of the KPD wear uniforms. Unlike the APD we don't get to spawn with kits, so this means we have to gear up between patrols and other ops. KPD also uses a number of Arma Squads to add our logos in game. If this bothers you, a career in the KPD is not for you.
[•3•] The KPD does not have a limit on gameplay hours, however we reserve the right to keep anyone with under 200 hours as a Rookie until such time as they either reach 200 hours or show proficiency at the game. We will try our best to train you.
[•4•] All officers must own property in the City of Kavala. Applicants who do not own Kavala property will remain a Rookie until such time as they can prove residence in the city.
[•5•] All officers must be financially self-sufficient. While the department's Police Academy will help newer applicants earn income, all Rookies must pay a $250,000 testing fee before graduation. Rookies will remain as such until they can afford to pay this fee.
[•6•] The KPD prides itself on doing the real police work the APD either can't or won't do. If someone in the Kavala area is being robbed or needs help, it is your duty to offer some assistance. This can include mass shootings, kidnappings, gas station robberies, and vehicle recovery. We also collect bribes, offer protection to criminals who pay us off, and kill people outside of town for fun.
[•7•] The department will often conduct planned patrols, checkpoints, undercover stings, and other law enforcement operations. Officers will be required to attend and assist in these events when they are on duty. Roaming and killing is cool, but pull up for the gang.
[•8•] The KPD is self-funding. Officers will be required to assist in operations that either add to the budget or stock our armory once a week.
[•9•] Officers of the KPD are required to adhere strictly to Asylum server rules at all times. If it seems questionable, ask your fellow officers and take caution. A W in a gunfight is not worth an avoidable ban.
APPLICATION
To apply to the KPD, reply to this thread with answers to the following questions:
-[Personal]-
[•1•] Ingame name
[•2•] Age
[•3•] Discord
[•4•] Hours available weekly
-[Ingame Information]-

[•8•] Have you ever been in the APD

Brandice liked a post in a topic by zdeat in Gang Skin Questions for the Community
Why not just allow any gang to “apply”, have a steep price to get the skin started, ~$100-250, but lets say a $10 - $20 monthly charge?
Having a higher charge gets rid of Timmy and jonny who have a troll gang, and just want a random skin, from wasting design / dev teams time. The upside to this is if this two man gang does decide to have their own skin, then boom the server just made $100-$250 off of what I would hope to assume is a quick job.

Something for medics during house fires
Have a pet inside the house during a house fire. a medic needs to break the door down and save the pet. Could be dog, turtle, fish, etc.
If medic saves the pet then they get extra money. If not then cooked animal meat of said pet.
Would be cool if this pet was a purchasable item as well for home owners. At least have them move a little inside the house. Some interaction/training of pet would be nice too. Can build it to be a pet that requires resources such as food. Resources for the pet can be stored in a food bowl. Food/water.
If you want to really add on to the pet idea make them trainable and eventually you can take out of the house and use the pet for assistance in Altis. Help gathering, guard, spotting, etc.

Brandice liked a post in a topic by stoned turtle in A list of suggestions from a long time player
Hi 🙂
Before I list my suggestions, I want to give some background information on myself. I've been playing since 2014/2015, have had multiple CoPs/Captains start their APD career as my cadets, and have been involved with some of the largest gang fights there have ever been on the server. I remember the days of gangs rolling 20+ deep with multiple orcas full of people dropping on enemy gang members across the island in an exciting game of cat and mouse. Nowadays, you're lucky to see a gang online with enough members to fill a hatchback. By no means am I some wizard that magically knows the reasons for the way things are, but I think I can offer an interesting perspective on things.
Overlying Issues
Gang life needs a serious revival. I'm not sure of the exact cause, but it seems like there is zero motivation for gangs to fight each other. You don't have massive fights for a cartel anymore like when Brotherhood and FSA would duke it out. You're lucky to get a fight most of the time. I've seen turfs go uncaptured for over an hour just because nobody has the motivation to go cap it. Maybe someone more active in the serious gang life can shed some light on that.
Civilians desperately need better ways to make money. If weed isn't legal, civilians are fucked unless they can time their runs right. Gangs aren't fighting each other, so the newbies trying to make some money often end up on the receiving end of their boredom.
The APD's ratio needs readjusted. There have been times when there is 30 people online, 12 of them are cops. That's just not a fair ratio for civilians or rebels. Cops get bored, load up in an orca, and run around with warrant squad to hot drop on the gangmate duo who are trying to run some meth, or they chain checking the illegal areas together so it's impossible to make money.
The economy needs a good looking at. We need to find a way of adding a money sink for the top end while making the core gameplay loop accessible for newbies. There's no reason for someone with $54m in their bank to be robbing a guy with $14k in his bank.
Specific Suggestions
Allow us to process from vehicles. The downside would be that it would take a larger cut and take significantly longer to process. Have economic hotspots. For some time, an area would have a boosted rate of production. Increased diamonds at high yield, tuna bite going crazy, new strain at weed field, etc. This would bring people interested in that form of money making to one area of the map and increase RP. Allow the larger gangs to conduct "raids" of each others safehouse. This would be a larger project but I believe it would increase competition among the gangs. These safehouses would be triggered via custom event and the gangs would work with designers to each have their individual layout, this would make attacking each safehouse a new experience. Could possibly be scripted to allow the use of emplaced weapons/heavier vehicles? Remove the whitelisting of medics. There's no reason for medics to still be whitelisted. Nobody likes hitting a chicken wire fence and then seeing "Medics online : 0" If possible, rotate key points in the map. Allow new players to experience the creativity that was Kavala prison, or Pyrgos bank.
