    and as mitch said before, something weird happened during the update process and not everything made it in including the cartel cooldown so we will likely have to wait a few more days before we can see the results/consequences of the cooldown.

    I think you're over estimating the effect of having a 400 second longer cool down...

    Please refer to my previous post instead of trying to ego me by asking if I fight cartels. I played this server when it was dying 6 months ago with 20 minute cooldown, and even only drug having a 10 minute cooldown caused an insane lack of re-pushes from both my gang and enemy groups. It's just not fun unless your objective is to farm billyunz at the lab.

     

    There's a reason the most roleplay-y and farming friendly server (olympus) has zero cooldowns. It's just more fun.

    Lockpicking is lowkey aids, ngl. Even with the instant lockpick bug, I go through 30 lockpicks on a hatch.

    It really doesn't matter, cooldowns aren't that beneficial unless you're in a zerg group that wants to slam a cartel, knock it down, and go farm ungodly amounts of money while its on C/D. Cartel cooldowns result in an unbalanced economy. As you might have heard me say:

    Rocky road, slippery sloap, whatever metaphor floats your boat. The point of a cartel is to fight. You guys did an insane thing reviving this server and I hope its not lost on you that a majority of the reasons people play are to grind and fight. By adding a cooldown, you make it infinitely easier to grind (resulting in people having ungodly amounts of money and just leaving from boredom) and make it infinitely more difficult to fight (resulting in people just leaving from boredom). It's so FUN to be able to re-slam a cartel and keep the fights going, I don't know why it's a good idea at all to try to limit that.

    The cartel shouldn't have a cooldown. You guys are watching non-stop cartel fighting for the first time in almost two years in this server's history and you decided to revert the one change that made it happen. Cooldowns only stop fights or make people stop fighting because they're locked out of having FUN on the server. Fighting groups play this server to FIGHT, not go AFK at a drug processor.

    The only people saying yes are zerg groups who want to zerg a cap, take it, and go print money for free. You will kill cartel fighting if you put in any kind of cooldown.

    I'm somewhat of a cop-main and I've never understood the argument that "wahh rebels have more outposts than we have HQs". Rebels can't spawn at outposts, it's a KOS zone, rebels near the crucial fighting areas are always camped. It's not even a skill issue at this point. I've played Olympus and their 2 arms rebels are very nice. Add the second rebel so we can keep fighting when one is occupied. Donor rebel isn't a warzone rebel, it's not connected to warzone, and as Ricky said, the only way to get out of it is pretty much to fly.

    ngl bro, if kavala, sofia, pyrgos and kavala rebel boat have been visited over 100 times in the wipe, I'd be surprised. No one really uses those rebels at all, plus it's not like we can spawn at rebels or hold them down. A second arms rebel would be nice because there has been non-stop fights on Arms for the last 7 days and usually arms rebel is camped, so you gotta' go to dono. Olympus just slapped 2 rebels on arms and it's actually mad nice.
