    Not sure what happened with the airfield but it was removed from an actual runway and placed in a bumpy, uneven (field) which damages aircraft unless someone has a tip or trick to help me land there more consistently I would love to see it placed back into its original proper runway.

    This pressed over someone telling you to get a grip haha. 
    I've loaded the file like three times since finishing it and haven't tried to revive this "shitbox" for a few months now.
    Go take up a new hobby rather than complaining on forums from servers you're banned from. 🙂
    Nah now its just a boring kind of toxic... Its fun having banter with other gangs or factions but to sit here and dox people because you're getting banned because you drove people away from the server? Just an example but you get my point.
    But nah dude i get it, im not saying "go touch grass" but this is "the easy way out" to just stop playing arma lmao

    Despite the drama currently going on around this project that Luke and I were dedicating weeks to, I figured the public should at least be able to see what could have been. Like the map or not, it would have brought a refresh to the server and changed the way things are done. 
    What we currently have was MAYBE half finished, there was a good amount of small things that still needed to be done such as legal areas, some drug zones and some other miscellaneous areas.

    PRISON:
    One of the crazy cool things we did about this prison was the ability to escape jail without there being a prison break going on. The exact balance behind this could have been if you escaped jail this way, you would be tracked on the map and Police / BHers would be able to see you at all times. Think of how Star Citizen did their prison system. 
    To escape jail, you would have to go through a cave system that was built and placed on one of the cliffs of the island. You would have to traverse a 7-10 minute trail that you could possibly die in and have to reset. Think "parkour" style, there were a few parts that if you didnt know exactly where you were going you would drown because you didnt get there fast enough. We were going to make a post in the patch notes if this dropped saying something like: "There is a new way to escape prison, go and find it." and make the community figure it out on their own.

    EVIDENCE LOCKUP:


    APD ISLAND COMMUNICATION TOWER:
    The idea behind this was to have some sort of air defense around the island. Disabling this air defense would allow you to start the Evidence Lockup, as well as fly out or into the other federal events around the island. TLDR: If you want to pick your buddies up from prison in a helicopter, disable the coms tower. The only way to get over to the island would be through a bridge, posted below.




    GANG COMPOUNDS - 3 TOTAL:



    CARTEL FIGHTING AREA:
    There was an idea that we would have all of the cartels be able to be captured at all times, however gangs would only be able to capture maybe THREE or FOUR at a time, and each cartel would give you different benefits.

    THE CURRENT MAP:

    We would have used the top left island Moray as a tutorial island for new players to be able to make some starting cash and get a good grip to start the server. The idea was that players that did the tutorial would be able to make around 100-150k, a few vehicles, learn how to do things like crafting vehicles / aircraft, learn how to make and process drugs, along with the other day to day normalcies of rebel life. 
    Its sad that this project never saw the light of day, we worked long hours into the mornings to try and make this project look and flow well for the Asylum brand. It is unfortunate that the owners of the server did us dirty how they did. If youd like to see a specific area, let me know and I can either get a screenshot or video of the area.

    @Fitzthank you buddy, I think it's safe to say that you're responsible for the increase in productivity amongst a huge majority of loyal asylum players who quit gaming all together because of your lack of leadership skills and inability to develop good content.

    Unfortunately our development “team” is not confident enough in order to import our scripts into a new map. The very thought of even changing the map should have never existed.

    Idk when you started playing, but even if I’m seen as a “new gen,” I’ve had friends around since way back, and I’ve seen how things really were. What we’ve got now isn’t even close.
    Back in 2016, you’d get doxxed, DDoSed, and thrown on Doxbin just for wiping someone at OG. Yeah, it was cringe, but compared to that, today’s community is pretty tame.
    Also, not sure why we’re even on this whole “toxic community” tangent. That wasn’t the point of my post. I was just trying to talk about ways to keep the server alive, not debate if the players have matured or not.

    Asylum was built by players. Kept alive by players. But now it’s being ruined by the people in charge.

    It’s not really about the community being toxic — yeah, it used to be bad and still kinda is, but nowhere near what it was before.
    This post isn’t some emotional rant, it’s just a straight-up suggestion to keep the server alive and give it a future. If you didn’t catch that, here it is again: the server’s basically dead. Max pop in the last 30 days has been like 20 players. That’s not keeping it alive.
    Sure, the S1 wipe brought some players back, but that was because they had something to work for. Something to grind, something to look forward to. But then what? Nothing. No updates, nothing new added, no goals — server just fell off again.
    All I’m saying is, why scrap something that actually worked (S2) for something that clearly doesn’t (S1)? S2 had numbers. People played it. It had momentum. Now it’s just… gone.
