APD Convoy Event The Event Team will be hosting a APD Convoy Event Friday (09/22/2023) at 7PM CST on Server 1. To join the event you will simply just show up and fight with a group. You cannot have more then 15 people in a civilian group, this is to prevent civs from all joining together against the cops. How the Event will work: The APD will start at a unknown location and be transporting evidence to another unknown location. These locations will be announced as the event goes on. There will be a max of 20 officers able to attend this event. Officers will be able to use any gear at there rank and all officers must use lethals at all times. The objective for officers is to protect the hemmit that is filled with evidence and get it from Point A to Point B. Civilians/Rebels objective is to steal the truck and drive it to the nearest Rebel outpost. Whoever the winning group is will receive a payout of $1-$3 mil depending on how many people turn up to the event. The truck will be a KOS zone anyone found around the truck for up to 500m can be shot by anyone. (Note: Anything above is subject to change by the Event Coordinators to help even out the fight) Rules: (Any rules broken will result in being admin jailed or a Event Disruption Ban) No explosives are to be used on the convoy truck, they are allowed to be used on other vehicles though. You cannot purposely blow up the transport vehicle or destroy it by using any method. (Watering, shooting with armed vehicle, etc..) All officers must use lethals at all times, cadets may down but cannot restrain. They must either have a Constable+ come shoot the guy or they must leave them. Officers are not to seize any vehicles or disarm any civilians/rebels during the event. Medics are allowed to attend but cannot chose a side they must help everyone there. As a medic you must wait till combat is over in that area before you revive. You cannot kill medics unless they are reviving a guy that you have told them not to revive. (Do not body camp)

I’m pretty sure we stay away from mods on the Main server so people don’t have to download them. Most of the time if people see that a server has mods they won’t play it because they CBA to download them.

I think the cut scene was a really cool idea but with how gang boat is going now not to many people are fighting it or the fight is over and people have moved onto other things by the time the cut scene happens. It looks really cool but it’s just causing more problems then what it helps rn. Cause event having it where if your within 1k it still could cause issues so I would just remove it and have the announcement that comes out after.

Please remove the gang fort and gang boat animation at the end, it ruins more fights and gets more people killed then anything else because it last 30 seconds and there is nothing you can do

WTB a shed good for fed events or cartels

You got to remember they are still having to spend time banned plus they lose the money. Bans are meant to try and change behavior and keep them from doing the same thing. By them RDMing you for your bounty is does nothing for them as they get banned and lose the money so the next time they are gonna think twice or if they dont learn then they just keep getting bigger and bigger bans.

I think instead of banks drilled just do a flat amounts of federal events you have taken part in. Basically just based off you getting the charge would be the easiest way to count. Ik some people get the charge while actually not doing it but I don’t think that’s much of a problem. Other then that I like the idea

If you obtain the money either from roaching the event or normally completing it and store the money in your gang bank then it will count.

I suggest to add an extra button on the interaction menu in game to allow people to get into vehicles that they dont have a dlc for. I believe the way it would work is as long as the vehicle is unlocked it would force a character to jump into the vehicle. This will allow anyone to use any vehicle that they might not have a DLC for. Here is the current interaction menu for civs on vehicles:

My biggest worry about this is that its gonna end up like hunting grounds and a bunch of other features that are added and used for a week then never used again

We could possibly make 2-3 separate zones in places where it will possibly switch between them to make the fights different

Are you talking about just normal cartel caps or the caps for the gang boat?
