Honestly doesn't seem like it changed much either way to me but I prefer it illegal. BHs still shoot cops about the same as before. But now when the BHs that only want to steal bounties come with the MXs I have grounds to detain them, remove their BH license/firearms and tell em to fuck off. And if BHs don't have the MXs it gives cops a slight advantage.

According to the written laws of the land it is not unlawful for anyone to rob the evidence lockup. Any officer that charges your for doing so is violating your rights. If you are a victim of this corrupt government please contact me about representing you in the class action lawsuit against the corrupt government.

Hey all,

I know it's been a bit since we've had an update get released. We do need to still get the January rewards out to you guys. For those of you who are unaware these are the January rewards we have yet to release:
Just to give insight on the progress, SWAT is essentially done, just needs a run through, due to how many players are required and existing exploit prevention and such, I want to make sure we utilize the correct player counts to test it. Which means getting a group of us to do it at once basically. The titles are also essentially done. We just need to get the titles to show above the players head. Which is basically a line of code or two, we've been debating placement and how to show them for the best aesthetic appeasement. Vehicle customization does still need some work though, as it was essentially the most labor intensive. This is also why we made our February goals lighter essentially. Which some of that is already done as well. Henry just wrapped up the Tractor Farming.

I just wanted to share this with you guys as I know we've been a bit behind this month. I've personally been quite busy with finding a new place to call home with my girlfriend. We did a ton of house/condo/duplex/apartment searching and finally just this Wednesday signed a lease for a place. I've also had some job related interviews and opportunities I've been working towards that have taken away time. I've also had 3 different people around me all have some sort of vehicle trouble, some more extensive than others... As far as our other developers, I do know one of them may be a bit "burnt" out if you will. As this game does take a toll on us to work on and we all have lives and stuff to do as well. We've also had a decent amount of time getting spent on some admin related duties if you will. Dealing with patching up exploits and determining where exploited money and such went.
Long story short, we've been busy. The new content for the goals will probably be all released in a giant lump I would say ideally the end of next week or the following week.

TL;DR: We have lives and have been busy. We are still working on stuff just at a slower rate of pace due to life stuff and being a tad burnt out with coding. The content update(s) should happen next week or the week after.

I've been working on a random vehicle crash event and have made the bare bones of it and was wondering what everyone's opinion on it is. Its mostly for police and medics to go and clean up the wrecked vehicles and tend to the injuries of the passenger(s) for a monetary reward. There could possible be a civ/rebel function for it too. If a civ/rebel rolls up on a crash site they could possibly repair and lock pick the vehicle to either chop it or use it. Only police and medics would be notified of the crash though so it would be hard for a civ/rebel to find one.
The way this works is it picks a random location on the map, finds the nearest road, makes sure there is no player near the spot so the player doesn't crash into it, selects a random crash scene template and then notifies police and medics.
Just thought this would add a little content to medics and police (possibly civs/rebels).
Current Feature List:
- Animated NPCs around crash site (Probably need to work on this a bit more)
- Damaged vehicles
- Treated injured occupants of the vehicles
- Repair vehicles
- Ability to copy NPCs and Vehicles placed into EDEN editor for crash scene templates
- Notify police/medics of crash
- Impound Vehicles
Planned Features:
- NPCs that can bleed out
- Once crash site is cleaned up medics/cops are paid that were at scene:
- Increase payment based on:
- Initial distance from crash site
- Time it takes to clean up crash site
- If vehicles were repaired prior to impound
- If you saved a NPC that was bleeding out
- Crash scenes with HEMMTs or other vehicles that have virtual inventory/actual inventory that can be robbed by Civs/Rebels
- OnStar headquarters that has a terminal that can be hacked to let all civilians know when a crash occurs
- Police capability to restore the terminal to remove civ access.

Bounty hunters aren't really supposed to work with the police. The point of bounty hunting is to hunt bounties that the police don't have the ability to hunt. E.g. bounties that spend all their time in places police can't or don't frequently go or getting bounties in the absence of police all together. With that said I just don't like the BH faction in the current way it is. It adds another factor both cop and rebels have to worry about when doing their thing on top of everything else they already have to worry about. So honestly, I would prefer going back to when they just had stings and we could go back to sending them straight to jail for abuse of their license.
