    Calling all content creators! We are looking for a community made promotional video for Asylum. It should be creative, entertaining, and showcase Asylum content. While we don't want to restrict the talent of our community members below are some guidelines and rules for the contest.
     
    General Guidelines:
     
    Should be around 3-4 minutes in length Feature Asylum content in a positive light Submit videos via PM to @Leady Contest ends Feb 12th. 1 winner will be chosen  
    Rewards:
    $500,000 In game cash 20 Loot crate keys of your choosing Have your video featured on the forums and wiki  
    Below are examples of past promotional videos for the APD these are just examples and not necessarily what is expected as it should feature multiple aspects of Asylum. But we are looking for similar quality and professionalism.

    It’s on the dev list. Animation is fixed for a hotfix, the one I originally picked didn’t work, and people complain I don’t test stuff so it didn’t make into the patch.

    I appreciate your support. The development team is actively working on the servers and to resolve these issues. The problems continue but so does the hard work behind the scenes. The biggest problem is that these issues are extremely hard to reproduce in a test environment. As it stands now, when we get word that a server is suffering performance issues. We literally have to throw a dart at the board to guess what caused it. When they look at the performance status of a server, they can see why it crashed. However, there is no glowing red button that describes what caused the memory etc to sky rocket. As many of you have seen, the locked server is a automated response to a server that self reports the server side FPS are below par. Its become evident that sometimes, the locking of the server allows it to catch up and recover. When the server recovers we hope to get a restart issued with a decent timer to allow people to prepare for said restart. Please continue to afford us your unwavering support. Your kind words keeps everyone going.

    The Devs #1 priority right now it seems is to fix the server performance. I'm sure they will find the issue and fix it as soon as possible with what resources they have. You have to remember at the end of the day we have people volunteering to Dev for Asylum it's not some multi million organization where they can find and fix bugs instantly.

    I love this sever and what the new devs are doing but we have to fix the issue of trying to play and the sever just randomly locking and crapping out, I have lost so much gear from the sever just crapping out and a cop or something coming up and putting me in jail. Its getting old.

    Effective Immediately -
     
    Cartel Raiding Policy:
    If a cartel is contested a Sgt + can raid a cartel but only if there is a fugitive ping, APB, or warrant.
    In the event that there is a Lt+ on then they will become the lead of the operation, unless they choose not to in which case it would refer back to the Sgt.
    Armor is still required as the lead vehicle for any cartel raid. Any officer that participates in the cartel raid are subject to a ONE life rule. All officers must meet up before entering a cartel raid. Once the initial push has been made no other officers can partake in the raid.
    There is to be only ONE raid per restart. Upon entering the cartel, if it is clear and no shots fired, then this will NOT count as a raid. However, if someone is apprehended with no shots fired than this will still count as a raid.
    Once the Raid is over the lead officer will mark the cartel with their name and time.
    Active pursuit rules will stay the same as well as APB/Warrant tracking if the Cartel is Uncontested.
     
    Rebel Outpost:
    Going forward the only probable cause reasons to enter a rebel outpost are,
    - Warrant tracking
    - APB
    - LT+ Raid
    - Parole Violations
    - Active Pursuit
    Fugitive Pings, 911 Pings, hostage negotiations, and vehicle trackers will no longer grant probable cause to enter a rebel outpost.

    Hotfix #2:
    Decreased damage taken to player while in vehicles. Doner Kebabs will no longer make your food value be a decimal point under certain circumstances. Removed APD Prowler doors. Removed Gang Bank cap. Now all players who are in the vicinity of the prison will be charged with Prison Conspiring. Any players who decide to be broken out from jail will also now be charged with Prison Conspiring on top of Escaping Prison. Prison Break delay dropped from 45 minutes to 15 minutes. Syncing at certain zones has been fixed. An option to refill magazines at Rebel Outposts has been added. Re-added the ability to sell weapons at Firearm Factory, vehicles are still disabled. Added lethal MX SW rounds to Cop shop. Some security adjustments.
