    Howdy Everyone!
    We know it's been a wild couple of months here on Asylum.  We've made a lot of changes and are continuing to do so to enhance the Asylum experience.  As we look towards a better Asylum community, we want to thank all of our loyal players for sticking around to make this place what it is.  
    In the last 10+ years we have had a lot of ups and downs, from dealing with the depths of the pandemic, to Turkish lawyers, and rough days at work, this community has always been a place for people to come together to be away from the outside world.  We just want to thank everyone for being a part of this crazy community we call Asylum.

    Tough to balance anything like this, I'll look at something to rectify it, but at the end of the day due to the low levels of actual happening, plus SGT+ can use drones to find them.  It will be added to the QOL backburner

    fine a compromise, only have overeating if you try to consume food when your hunger is already at 100. anything below that don't do the overeating affect. I'm OCD and just want my shit to be at 100 and its annoying that if I eat tactical bacon when im at 90 or 95 hunger I can now nolonger sprint.

    EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
    The APD is introducing the use of Armed Ghost-Hawks
    Information below:
    1.  Actively Seated Captain must be in the helicopter to ensure proper use of the armed Ghost-Hawk.
    The armed Ghost-Hawk shall not be used to land officers into an active firefight.
    2. Only one Armed Ghost-Hawk may be used at a time or:
    In the event the APD lose control of an armed Ghost-Hawk, another may be dispatched to disable the stolen helicopter. A stolen armed Ghost-Hawk will take priority over everything until it is secured. Once the Ghost-Hawk is secured an Actively Seated Captain may issue one officer to pilot the stolen Ghost-Hawk back to an HQ, no other officers may occupy the Ghost-Hawk's gunner seats at that time.
    3. Armed Ghost-Hawks shall only be used if cops are heavily outnumbered and/or are repeatedly responding to federal events with no reprieve.

    For real though we have enough suicide vests already. No need to make it even easier. Current cops aren't capable of stopping ground based explosives as is. If you really wanna do this get a hummingbird with some rpg's and rain fire.... actually forget I said that. Don't do that.

    Shedding/unlipping vehicles into structures  Intentionally unflipping a vehicle into a structure/object or closing a door/gate to destroy a vehicle that doesn’t cause the death of another player shall now be considered exploiting.     The Following Charges are NO LONGER STACKABLE
    Weapon Trafficking - Now a $5,000 charge
    This charge is applied when an Individual is in possession of 3 or more weapons that exceed the limit of Personal Use.
    Possession of Federal Reserve Gold (Gold Bars) - Now a $15,000 charge
    This charge is applied when an individual is in possession of gold bars
    Money Laundering- Now a $10,000 charge
    This charge is applied when an individual is in the possession of Banded Bank Notes
    Policy regarding event vehicles
    Any legal server spawned vehicle will have the following policy in place.
    Shipping, Evidence, Mental, Jewelry vehicles are all standardized to
    1 minute all clear to seize, or 3 minute APD control to drive to the nearest HQ.
    Any Illegal server spawned vehicle will have the following policy in place.
    Example - Jewelry/Shipping Minigun Quillin -
    1 minute all clear to seize, or 3 minute APD control for an LT+ to drive to the nearest HQ.
    APD VEHICLE Update 
    The Marid has been replaced with the Marshal. The Marshal will follow all previous policy of the Marid.
    CPL+  can Utilize the APD Rhib Boat which can be Purchased at Boat Shop (This falls under standard vehicle use policy)

    Most of the Devs have been quite busy as of late. Lots of things have happened in the background such as migrating everything to a new server. Our infrastructure has greatly improved. You may notice some unlisted changes as we continue to tweak them (Ping kicks).
    Mostly a QOL/Server maintenance Patch this month. 
    Added:
    Bright Night Select night brightness via settings slider! Sheds Broken down sheds on the map have been repaired to full working order. (36 Total) We will be slowly introducing these new sheds via Give-Away (Join our discord), Asylum forum auction and random market seeding This is being done this way to ensure equal opportunity for shed ownership and as to not crash the shed market.  Owning sheds is now limited to 2 sheds. If you currently own more than 2 sheds you have until the 1st of November 2023 to sell sheds until you reach the 2 shed cap, after this date we will sell them for you until you reach the 2 shed cap. CCTV Security Camera's 50+ Camera's have been placed around the map and are accessible by scroll wheeling on any screen with the camera icon.     The APD is a profitable faction, but it's the higher-ups who primarily carry the risk and bear the heaviest costs. These adjustments are aimed at helping to balance out those expenses. We're also taking this opportunity to get rid of most of the stackable charges. In the past, being caught with gold bars or banded notes almost always meant serving time in prison. These changes give you the choice to either pay the charges or find ways to realistically RP the charges down to a payable leve.     We will now grant ACTIVE seated captains the authority to take unconventional measures when dealing with heinous individuals/groups who consistently violate/disrupt the community. Captains will be allowed to exercise discretion/alternative methods outside of the guidebook to address misconduct ensuring a more effective/immediate response.
    This is meant to encourage Captains to create an environment where lower-ranking officers can actively participate in an enjoyable experience. 
    Captains will still be bound to the guidebook on these sections with zero leniency.

    Captains actions can be subject to review via SAs for severe cases of misconduct and will be handled on a case by case basis.

    Suggestion: Blow up the C4 bomb on the bank or open the door of the house. Perhaps he needs many. It can only break open the door of the house and cannot obtain the items inside. So the mice have no place to hide.

    Totally agree!
    I also suggest that when an APD member is caught cheating everyone of the same rank gets demoted for 1 week. If a Cadet gets caught cheating all Cadet weeks get reset. 
    Let's make all the cheaters feel the pain by punishing everyone. They will feel empathy and see the error of their ways.

    I suggest Cadets don't count towards the number of cops online required for each Federal Event. Late night heists are being taken advantage of and spammed one after the other while each Constable has 2 Cadets tethered to them at a time. Cadets can't lethal, used zoom scopes, or even pull a hatch when they are killed and need to come back to the scene.

    Actually, I think we should add Flash bangs that can be launched from the grenade launcher off the MX. I think this could really help the APD.
