Due to the new office setup for Identity being in place, from this point forward patches will be provided every week. Some big, some small, but they'll be regular. I expect the most common days for patches will be Tuesday or Wednesday of each week.

The below patch is scheduled for release Tuesday, September 1 (tomorrow). It's main focus is to promote intended gameplay as well as fix exploits.

6.2.4

  • Disconnecting on death will no longer save you from your fate.
  • A new stacking revive cooldown grows by 10 minutes each time you're revived, preventing you from being revived again in that time. For example, if you're revived and then are alive for 8 minutes before dying again, you'll have to wait a further 2 minutes before being revived again.
  • An icon and timer were added to the HUD when you have a revive cooldown.
  • The request medic button is now disabled when you're in a state where you cannot be revived.
  • New allow revive button on death screen allows you to accept revives without calling for a paramedic.
  • You can not revive another player for a very short time after being revived yourself.
  • Only medics will receive pay when reviving another player; however, the player being revived will always be billed regardless of who revives them.
  • The governor pardon exploit to pardon more than one player per session has been fixed.
  • The oil runner talent is no longer required to process oil, and instead now increases gathering speed of oil and your rubber yield.
  • The police reserve gate talent will now allow you to unlock reserve gates instantly, instead of allowing without a tool.
  • When revived by a civilian, your maximum health will be 75% until you visit a hospital. Being revived by a paramedic will not give this effect.
  • Armed civilians and police can once again execute unconscious players at very short range. For civilians, this is considered an illegal action.
  • Players who disconnect while restrained by a police officer will be placed in prison upon reconnection.
  • New trials will invite 30 players to register as jury members, instead of 12; however, only the first 12 to register will be rewarded and serve jury duty.
  • You must now wait 15 seconds after pressing escape before you can disconnect from the server.
  • It will take considerably longer to open vault doors in the federal reserve. Talents will speed this up a good bit. Safe locks are unchanged.
