Ability to Strip Gear

So from talking to a bunch of different people on asylum or Olympus, I see that a major reason they play on Olympus is because of the freedoms given on taking gear. (That's not the only reason, just stating a big one). On here, you need to unlock every single talent with bounty hunter to be able to strip people of their gear which is the equivalent of around 200,000 give or take honor points. Now taking into consideration, that you make around 1000-2000 honor per arrest that's way too long. And it shouldn't be like that, if I have someone in restraints, I should be able to take their stuff. We should have a consumable such as scissors that costs like $5000 which is a one time use item that gives you the ability to strip search people. possibly rebel shops and skiptracers should have them.

1) you can only strip gear from the guy you are arresting, and he was going to lose it anyways when he got sent to prison

2) On Olympus you need 50 arrest to get access to a downing riffle, if you get arrested you need to restart from zero

3) I dont want to be downed by a guy with a po7, to then lose my 20k lodout

That's not how it works there. There are 3 ranks, once you unlock a rank, you keep that rank regardless of arrest. once arrested, all you have to do is buy the license again and your are put back to your rank. But any arrests made towards the next rank are wiped.

As it currently stands, Apex predator (stripping bounty targets) is a end goal/ target for bounty hunters, you need to earn it.  As someone who has this I have probably used it a handful of times, only when the gear is worth more than an average loadout (rpg/lmg's).  Risk to skiptrace people is often worth less than the bounty.

What you suggest essentially gives the ability for someone to spend like 2k on a P07, down a fully geared rebel and take their gear.  (+ Whatever cost you suggest for the item to do it with). This just encourages trolling and being toxic af, just leading to more people disconnecting.  

Only way I see this working out is something like an infamy talent v gang war targets (Bounty hunter style but flipped for a rebel perspective).  Being able to take anyones gear at will is just a terrible idea.

10k-15k for the ability to take a loadout that averages 25-30k

I’d be fine with being able to remove someone’s clothing but instead, it should be like a 25% chance to remove their clothing/items and no matter what it’s consumed wether you succeed or fail

There's many problems with this idea, the main one being the fact that anyone can get their hands on a downing weapon. To my knowledge, Olympus bounty hunter system is much different than Asylum's bounty hunter system. Let's say for example a guy puts his hands up knowing his gear can be taken, in my opinion that's perfectly fine. But the problem is a person fully kitted getting downed and stripped of all of their gear. Until downing weapons are only able to be used by bounty hunters with certain rules enforced so they don't abuse it, I don't ever see this being a thing.

It’s not too different, you start out with po7, after 25 arrests they can get 5.56, then after 100 arrests they get MX, and keep in mind they don’t get certain bounties, they can look at a list like the APD do and find anyone.

Mainly was talking about the rules on bounty hunter. We’re allowed to abuse it here unlike Olympus.

If you like Olympus so much why don’t you play there? Since you think stealing a bounty is against the rules.
