Gang tags in text messages (Initiation)

Gangs often use text messages to initiate, often from a distance or from helis / vehicles where VOIP isn't guaranteed to work. A possible issue with that is if a gang member initiates with you, technically, you are only initiated with that member and not the whole gang whereas the whole gang is initiated with you. aka: they can all shoot you, you can only shoot one of them. This poses the potential to damage role play in a scenario like this: You're messaged hands up or die by a random person, you have people around you in a gang but you don't know they're affiliated with the initiator so you try to run, rather than hands up / fight, because you don't know there are people within reach of you.
This also creates a disadvantage for anyone being initiated on because if you have someone from a gang initiate on you (and you don't know what gang they are from) and then they have naked / pistol bangers following you, you don't know you're allowed to kill them and stop them from giving your position/shooting you from behind.
 
TL;DR Add gang tags to text messages and make it so text messages from one gang member act as the initiation for a whole gang (Basically the red name system via text)
OR just add gang tags to a text message so you know to initiate on those around you that are in the same gang when needed.

A text from gang mate already acts like initiation for their entire gang, if one guy texts you, you can kill any of their gang mates not just them.

I do like the idea of adding tags or full group/gang names into texts, there's room for it.
