    hope your joking tbh

I don't see the big deal, you don't have to buy the skins on asylum in order to buy the dlc so I don't see how the skins being only for donor levels affects the charity part at all. it's not like asylum having the skins for donor levels will take any money away from charity?

I don't see how thats relevant

It's making it to where there is absolutely zero reason for anyone to buy that DLC unless they first give Asylum a ridiculous amount of money.  They're making the DLC pointless to buy for what's probably a somewhat noticeable chunk of Arma's playerbase nowadays

Looking to address the concerns in regards to the donor level additions.

As azeh stated above, I didn't decide what went where. I think that a lot of you are looking at this issue from one side. Since 2014 we have had to find unique and creative ways to thank those who wish to support us in a fashion that keeps us up and running.  Due to the rules that BI rolled out years ago, those unique and creative ways to keep things running were cut by 75 percent. If people openly donated without anything in return this would be a different story. But people want to get something when they give something. The charity DLC is great. I'm glad they're giving to something that will benefit.

But to claim that we are being scummy for using that content, which arguably is the first DLC that a life server can fully benefit from in our donor levels is misguided.

We need to reward those who have supported us, and the people who wish to support us. This DLC will be free for everyone once their charity drive is complete. We choose to place the items in the ranks. If you are unable to support us in that fashion and are upset that you're not able to sport that wear on the server, my apologies. Its not my intention to castrate you. But its imperative that I ensure we are able to sustain our services for as long as we can. Its easy to think about today and really any monkey can do just that. But to plan for down the road when things aren't as good takes a few brain cells. If you have ideas and suggestions for potential player rewards that don't break the monetization rules. Let us know.

can we move metal detecting away from mines? maybe to beaches or somewhere different?

This would be awesome especially since it seemed to make jackshit for money, Also it keeps saying "Metal detecting stopped, keep moving" when i'm literally holding W the whole time. Maybe make the stopping the process less sensitive to stopping. But yes either increase the pay or let us do something with the metal sheets cause i don't know what the hell to do with them now or maybe move them to beaches cause you're a big ass target at the mines now for 0 reward.

Okay maki I agree but also disagree with you. The community on asylum helps a lot and fulfills the money requirement every month really fast. I mean most months me and @OG Blunt spend about $200 plus into the server on crates and skins just for fun to help the server. But the whole reason for the art of war DLC is for charity and instead of hiding it behind donor tiers he should have to open to public and be making everyone have to go buy the DLC in order to use it and support the ICRC fund. Also all we want is what’s morally right which is not using a charity DLC as a money incentive to donate to server and not the charity.

tbh you should just have crate key purchases count toward donations, or the subscriber. I dont know how many people still subscribe but it was kind of pointless after the first month and would probably get people to do it
