Rebel Talent Tree Ideas (Infamy)

Looking for any ideas regarding the infamy talent system. Any idea you have (good or bad) place down below. Try to refrain from money buffs. The old rebel bounty system will most likely not be brought back, due to being unpopular. We want things that would make the new rebel talents unique and sought after. Something to grind for (infamy) and earning those talents that make you want to stay as a rebel and benefit you for doing so.

Ex: Access to a blood money virtual item shop that has exclusive virtual items only to be purchased by BM.

We already have a war rating system that is pretty useless right now. It should be reworked and have stuff added as opposed to adding a whole new infamy system. etc. more long & short term achievements. Right now the only thing war rating does is pretty much put you in a useless leaderboard why add infamy when rating can be reworked? i think that with some BM tweaks would be perfect

The post is about Infamy, not war rating bub.

  • Chance for a extra gold bar to spawn when opening a Fed case
  • Discounts for loadouts? maybe something along those lines
  • Faster bolt cutters and lock picks
  • Chance to not use Redgulls or Narcan on group members
  • Something that could give you mags (Headshotting a cop gives 1 mag for your current weapon?) (Repacking mags yields a bonus mag)? im not sure if that could even be done
  • Redgulls make you run faster
  • Sway reduction from levels
  • Cheaper grenades
  • Orca is cheaper

Make a 25k infamy talent called weapons  specialist, and make it so that on the rebel boat or bm only you are able to buy  higher caliber rifles (beyond 7.62) or the ability to buy a titan AA for a large sum of money(150-200k)

If this is to happen crafting them must be heinous, arms should be needed and at least 500k in materials as well as like a 5 minute crafting time.

What if i have a zafir? Or head shot a cop with an rpg? Or the projectiles from the rpg hit like 5 cops in the head?

Hey man, its been like this for 5+ years. Realistically this whole thing should be removed or maybe have the “season” reset.

1. Chance to not consume redgull

2. unlimited redgull (must have at least 1 in virtual inventory to work)

3. Chance to get revived and not have debuff or cooldown timer

3. Smoking weed gives 2x longer sway reduction (maybe increase sway reduction to 24%?)

4. Cocaine makes you run 1.5x faster than before

5. Ifrits spawn with 3 smokes instead of 2

6. Faster defib/ repairing / lock picking / bolt cutting / blood-bagging and fak

7. 50 cals, quilin miniguns, armed jeeps spawn with 1.5x more ammo

8. 10% chance to not consume RPG after firing

9. Not really related but it would be nice if the dab vape gave you like 20 seconds reduced sway every time you use it. It’s kinda useless right now since it just makes your screen shake every-time you log in with no real incentive behind it

Some perks just thinking about :

Lockpicking buffs
ifrit spawn in with more smokes / armed cars with more ammo
Gain more blood money each war kill 
grenades cheaper
Decrease claiming vehicle price
 

Tried to stay away from money buffs
Cheaper grenades (so people actually use them more and include them in loadouts)
Decrease claiming vehicle price (makes people sit at chop longer instead of just chopping for the money aka more risk)

Would be pretty cool to see cosmetics/titles put in for people with a lot of infamy, something to show off the grind.

-Illegal modifications to vehicles - visually detectable modifications (that way they can be identified by police) that have both a benefit and a deficit, like your car goes faster but is louder/more penetrable, or your car goes slower but is quieter/more reinforced. Not sure if this type of thing is actually possible but it'd be really fucking cool. Obviously this would take some balancing, we don't want Ifrit glass to be impenetrable, even if they are moving at 50 km/h off-road. We also don't want Ifrit glass to be initially penetrable by 6.5mm rifles, even if they are moving at 150 km/h off-road, etc.

-Chance when weapon is seized off of you to put weapon into backpack if it will fit, if it will not fit, it is seized. This keeps 7.62mm rifles from being saved, but anything smaller has a chance to be hidden. Maybe have the chance scale with caliber, so as caliber decreases, chances to hide increase. Legality of the firearm can play a role in chancing it as well.

-Chance to 'hide' illegal items on your person/vehicle when searched -- saves to the cop, so multiple searches from same cop will yield similar results, but searches from two different cops has a chance to catch you out on one of them. Encourages buddy system for police on patrol and enhances roleplay between police/civilians.

-Faster mag repacking

-Cheaper/free mags/mag refills

-Ability to buy low-caliber (6.5mm and lower) rebel rifles from the gun store and/or ability to buy 6.5mm and 7.62mm mags from the gun store

Well here is a good start to helping out with a Rebel Update. 

Some Infamy ideas would be

1. More Gold Bars could spawn

2. Ability to craft zafirs

3. More payout for Altis Shipping

4. Lower defib cool down

5. Ability to get revived without a cool down

These are just some suggestions off the top of my head, also any update on the domination maps?

Defib timer is good on asylum lower wil not be good

Ability to craft zafirs i dont like this idea rather be able to buy it with bloodmoney it should cost around 300k and only able to buy with bloodmoney

Maybe we with higher rating you have access to different types of stores they allow you to buy different stuff for cheaper like with 1500+ it gives you access to a store that allows you to buy ifrits or something for 15% off and then at 2000+ you get access to buying weapons or some shit for 20% off but you can only get the % off of you access that store. For example if you run into rebel and you access the normal store and go to the mk1 it’s at full price so you turn around and access the rating weapon store and it’s 20% off. Idk could be dumb idea I’ve only been back on the server for 2 and a half weeks now and I know titles and stuff are added and quest it could overlap and make this idea trash but why not use war rating like said and make a use of it.

I agree that it would be really cool to bring infamy back, but if rebels get a special talent tree equivalent to the honor system, then it will make rebels vs bounty hunters even more unbalanced. I think we also need stuff added to BH to keep it balanced, because this would make rebel objectively better.

Infamy could replace war rating

 

 

Some of the top level perks could be to purchase rare and currently unobtainable stuff, like:

  • Shotgun pellets
  • RPK
  • Zafir

Obviously this stuff would have to be really expensive, but being able to purchase this stuff from a store would be cool if it's balanced.
