I love how some APD members in here are pretending that the officers did nothing wrong when they did based of this video.

The officers gave the civilian a ticket whilst not noticing the rifle on the back of the civilian. The civilian pays the ticket and therefor is free to go. Yet a officer notices the rifle after unrestraining the civilian that he still has an illegal firearm and immediatly restrains the civilian again and seizes the illegal firearm. Nothing wrong with this at all as an officer is not allowed to let people go with illegal items. As soon as the officer adds more charges they go into the wrong. It is their mistake for not charging the civilian the initial time they had him restrained and therefor are not allowed to add another charge.

The end of the video does not show the entire processing of the second time though which makes it uncertain if the officers saw their mistakes and removed the charge or made you pay for the charge given.

Pretty much this. They can take your gun at any point. Only issue was the charge. Which quite honestly, looked like a miscommunication.
 

I'm also being told the charge was removed right after after the video cut, and you were let go. If this is true, failing to provide this info in any IA will void the entire thing basically since your providing false evidence.
