I won't lie, it has been a battle trying to keep the cops on while you guys fed spam. At the rate you guys are going you might not be able to do them anymore becasue there will be 3 or 4 cops on. I would like to avoid that. As I said before I'm just trying to find some middle ground here.

Seems like just a lack of strategy on the APDs part, there should be no excuse with 18 cops to be pulling out ghost hawk. There is just a lack of leadership, no innovation, no coordination. You could spike the gates for a change, bench snipe, back your ifrit over h-barrier, van all jump spots, grenade launch smoke grenades, ifrit/strider smoke a gate and let people unlock and push, hot drop orca behind northeast building. Cops log off regardless of if they win or lose the fed events, they literally see bank channel get full then log in just for the event. Y'all are saying "why would cops push fed with default loadout" and complain at the same time that cops were getting downed with a civ spar... the server is designed that cops have every advantage, air HQ is less than 800 meters from fed, free guns, free level 2 armor, spike strips, swat level 2 helmets, swat vehicles, swat mk1, medic slots, restraints that instantly take someone out of the fight for duration of the event...

additionally civs can be sent straight to jail for being too heinous (6+ feds or 300k plus bounty) we constantly play one person per gate, imagine if all the cops smoked and pushed south east or jumped in south west it would be a minimum of 5+ vs 1 maybe 2. Pushing a fed really isnt that hard if you just coordinate a little bit and mob on players individually.

What buffs have I pushed for the APD? Since I have been CM I haven't pushed for any. When I first got CM my main focus was to talk to the civs and get feedback from them. The first serveral patchs were almost all civ stuff that the players asked for. It was also me who added all of the temp APD policy changes for the wipe to make sure the civs had a fun experince. I may play a lot of cop. I do it because they always seem to need the help. That doesn't change the fact that I go out of my way to make sure players have a good experience on the server.

I have already told you I'm trying to find middle ground here. Believe it not I care about all of the players. I don't just want to tell the devs to only allow 1 or 2 feds per restart. Conversations like these are how we fix these problems. In my first post I invited anyone to talk to me about any of these issues. I rather talk changes over with the players and not make calls behind closed doors.

Did you even read my post lol? It talks about everyone else that is playing on the server. I always have fun at the events. This has nothing to do with me. I also never act salty "when something doesn't go my way". And I need to correct your video. I was not the one who stole your orca. The Admin that I was playing with had the idea to steal your orca after you took ours. It was also his idea to drop it in the water. The only thing I did was messged you guys to see if you wanted to trade helis. I only jumped out when the pilot did because I didn't want to die. I was the passenger not the pilot. I was able to prove that to Bamf and Clint. That is why nothing happened to me.

in the last 4 years the APD has only been getting stronger i find it hard to believe you havent had any participation in these buffs whether as staff or when you were captain. For example, apd ifrits, cadets counting at .5, apd 50 cal apd ghost hawk apd minigun boat, swat, sending “heinous” players straight to jail. In the last 4 years what have rebels gotten? (more expensive weapons, more expensive rpgs more expensive sui vests, you cant sui vest while in the air, and plenty more things that are nerfing rebels) while im sure you do care about all factions and all playerbases i still think you’re subconsciously biased towards the apd. And while everyone did appreciate the temp policies, that wasnt us rebels getting anything new and it was only temporary. the way i feel about it is it feels like there is no representation for the rebels especially amongst the staff, considering a lot of the staff team were either retired captains or higher ups in the apd. 

 

and to add to all of this a retired captain makes a suggestion post to once again buff the apd

I did not add the ifrits. It was (Ifrit)Mitch's idea to move the other armor down and add ifrits for LT and Captain. It was also Mitch's idea to add the mini gun boat. At the time it was thought of just being a meme. I did not make the change that made cadets .5 of a cop. To be honest I was never a fan of that. The APD lost 50 cals when I was a Constable and they haven't been added back since. Bada asked me if I wanted 50 cals back and I said no. It was also not my idea to add the ability to arm the ghost hawk. I was already retired for 2 years when that happened. I did not make the heinous player policy either. That was made so a Captain can send someone being very toxic to jail. Once again I was already retired when that was added. I go way back man. I got Captain when Bamf still owned the server. A lot of these changes you don't like were after my time. The last thing I remember asking for that the APD got was the MXSW. I wanted it for SGT plus. It was the owners at the time who made it Captain only. I promise you I am not as pro cop and you think I am. I used to play a lot of civ. I did a lot of fed events and cartels. I always tried to keep both factions in mind when I made changes.

maybe not you in specific, but that doesnt change how the apd has been constantly getting buffed over the last 4 years. Tens of buffs, new weapons, new vehicles(as far as getting the marid) new policies that help the apd. So i ask again, what have rebels gotten in terms of a direct buff? because all i can think of are nerfs. No new vehicles no new weapons no new apd polices other than 1 temporary one that helps rebels. In fact the only policy change that i remember that was really good was when bbgreg and rafael made the policy to where captains could only hold the rank for a year along side some other good and rational changes, but that policy was deleted without comment.

Well the cops received those buffs because the rebels were very hard to beat. At one point keeping cops on the server was very hard. We would have a full server and 3 cops on because cops were not having fun. Over the years rebels have had a lot of gear, guns, and vehicles. What would you like to see added? As I said before I always welcome feedback. If you think the rebels needs some buffs lets talk it over and maybe we can see some stuff get added. Before the wipe we added a shit ton of strong guns for civ only. I know it didn't work out but at least that shows we are willing to add more for the rebel players.

I'm not playing dumb at all. I'm just saying these are policies I didn't make. Those are two seperate policies. One is so a Captain can send someone being toxic to jail and the other is for players spamming federal events.

I wouldn’t mind fighting the ghost hawk if every fed events was made to have something you could do to counter it. The issue is that all the fed events are just so outdated that they were made without the ability of the hawk getting pulled. The example I keep bringing up is the lockup where no matter where you are you can be shot by it. There is no cover to be had. I have no issue fighting the hawk if there is some place I can hide and shoot it from. 
 

 

I have a proposal… unblacklist me for 1 fed event and let me use the miniguns. If I don’t drop atleast 7 kills I’ll never apply for cop again

We don't want buffs, we don't want new gear or vehicles, we want staff to stop giving special treatment to APD
