Because they played for a few weeks and then gave up after the pop died they should be chosen of the existing community that was here for years? I was one of those players that have grinded and played since 2014, I stopped playing a while back and didn't have any prime houses and most of everything I ever had that was good was on server 3 when multiple servers were still running. I get it that certain OGs had a lot they had worked for and houses that were worth a hell of a lot more, but there were so few of them that it's just not justified to revert back to the "housing market". Over 75% of them would log on just to keep the houses, and the pop was 17 people avg until around mid-day where it maybe peaked at 40-50 for fed events "that were added by Fitz/others, from the communities suggestions". In all honesty its a question you have to ask yourself, will you play the new updates as is or not.

If actual New content that holds substance is added other than Pointless shit then yes i can see more people returning. Also stop nerfing everything that makes money to the point that there is only 1 stable way to make money. You wonder why new player retention is low when the cant make fuck all money. IF newer players can make a substancial amount of money without spending 100 hours to make 10m the server would have alot more players

I wish they'd actually make the seasonal quests worth a fuck. There should be lifetime quests for every money maker, from meth to mining, and there should be a tasty little buff at the end. I remember on V2 they had a lifetime quest for selling flawless diamonds. Every time a shipwreck spawned people would race there so they could make progress on the quest. Once you sold like 1k flawless or however much it was, your chances of finding them went up. Made mining and diving more profitable. They had a similar thing for nuggets. 

Imagine if you had these long, grindy quests for each money maker, and in return for doing them you could sort of "spec" into a certain thing. Like sure, maybe this or that money maker is dogshit compared to meth, but if you grind it and get the lifetime for it you'd get a buff that makes it worth doing. You'd actually see some gangs maybe try to control lesser fields because they have seasonal buffs for it. 

V3 seasonals gave you fucking peanuts. Who is going to grind out thousands of Uranium or coke bricks or whatever just to get 100K? You'd lose that much gas money just driving the runs, let alone kits or vics from bad runs. Useless. That's how you reward long time grinders.

20-19. I know more than a few people voted for V3 just to pour fuel on this dumpsterfire. This so called new content that is supposted to save asylumn. Cotton. Re skinned bank and prison. No civ talents. And infamy still in the god aweful state that its allways been. Every HQ re textured for some reason. Not sure why the entire apd needed a new building everywhere and towns changed when nobody even suggested the fucking changes. A massive mission file that new players are going to see and say fuck that. Hope the server does well but idk man. Rewarding those who been here with a glowing veteran title or cool skin would keep ppl who been here happy and show asylums deep history while continuing new things to make the server full is to not change the game to favor roleplay but like in my other posts suggestion to make a cqc/koth mode in ghost towns that are good for fighting and rest of map is roleplay to offer best of both worlds attracts ppl that just want constant combat instead of regearing at rebel/house to find combat have an alternative than cartels offers for all skill groups and ppl will make blood money from this new mode 

I suggest making a second meth lab or type of drug on west sode of map so ppl can fill houses with guns on their own time. Having everyone go to one meth lab but having a new method can open doors for alot of players that dont wanna or cant do it in current meth lab
