(TROUBLESHOOTING) Getting kicked/not able to join

This guide is made to help players with issues trying to join the Asylum servers.

Note that these steps do not apply when servers are down for whatever given reason. 

 

The following steps can be used to gain access to the servers:

 

1. Restarting ARMA III

2. Restarting computer

3. Unloading/reloading mods (If using JSRS)

2. Verifying game cache

4. Deleting mission file - See Norwegianvikings guide here.

5. Remove squad URL. (If you applied one) -Serpico

6. Assigning a different memory allocator.

Not sure if BI improved squad URL, but if you are able to join the server but not get to the lobby, remove your squad URL if you have one.

I had an issue with Squad/unit URL indeed aswell. Removing it re-enabled me to actually play.

What would happen is that I would be able to get into the server, it would say "Group Channel", but then it would be just stuck on the map. It wouldn't continue to lobby. So definitely a +1 to that fix, helped me a week ago.

I keep getting kicked at the worst times. It seems to be completely random, and I've tried to fix it.
