Ive had the same problem too. What I've done is go into the launcher, go into your settings, and turn it on and off. That should hopefully fix it. dbb7a5b1811e2a4c82c5011bf9dc34af.png

Then turn it back on agian. It should work, it has for me. You also dont need to do it through Alt+Z. Just make a new hot key like Alt+[ or something. You can also go through the launcher

You should use OBS instead. Shadow play is a disk space hog, and only saves what 20 minutes?

Most people to achieve better performance use "quicksync"; which is designed to record at lower bitrates. The reason Nvidia only offers shadowplay to people with Nvidia drivers is because of NVenc the on board hardware encoder. By default Shadowplay is set at a bitrate of 30Mbps whereas quicksink is sub 10. You can set Shadowplay to a minimum of 10 Mbps which is ~750MB/10Minutes@1080p

There is also the fact that OBS uses ram to store its 'shadowed' footage while Shadowplay uses temporary files.

It really depends on your rig and what you are trying to do. Streaming/Youtube go with OBS for it's customizability, If you just need something to save clips for friends/reports use Shadowplay.

@Grizz Sometimes shadowplay breaks between updates, if nobody's information here has solved your problem you can try to use the experimental version of Geforce. If all else fails re-install your video drivers or consider OBS.

Download DDU and follow a guide to using it to remove all Nvidia software/drivers, then manually install the latest game ready driver and everything 'should' be working fine.
