If I may, allow me to beef up your idea. Let's make a physical casino where gangs could make LEGAL money IF AND ONLY IF they control all cartels. If no gang controls the casino then the money goes to the casino vault for any players to win a jackpot OR if rebels would want to raid the vault. This style would force more CQB indoor fighting between gangs or APD vs gangs. 

(((An alternative is the uncontrolled casino money goes to the Bank of Altis or Fed for a bigger pay out.)))

Casino Perks: 

  • Dirty Money could be processed if controlled by gang in a non KOS zone.
  • Rival gangs could attempt a "heist" to raid the casino vault.
  • Can pull vehicles / helicopters if controlling casino. 
  • Participants at the casino can win a variety of items like rare Y items as well as cash.
  • Slot machines work as ATMs that can ping fugitive for the APD (slots machines have cams). 
  • Garage for civs to use.
  • Have bar for players to RP and goof off in. 
     

It's a lil rushed, but it's what came off the top of my head within 2 minutes. But think of this way, in history the most powerful gangs were able to live "somewhat" legit lives as casino owners. Anyone who tried to screw them over "took drive around town" never to be seen again. I believe this play-style would allow gangs to play a more passive play style and would allow them to RP more with civs and cops. Nothing says great RP than crooked cops under the payroll of mafia style casino owners. ;)

Use  Anthony Spilotro and Bugsey Siegel, AL Capone, etc. as a reference.

Good suggestions, although you shouldn't expecting gangs really have much participation on that front, hence the probabilty for a casino being located in Kavala is rather high, and will mostly only attract local people (Pistolbangers etc.)

I absolutely love this idea, I know Asylum needs hard bug fixing, but besides that we also want new things to keep it exciting. and it might be a bit more fun for the devs too? (to create something new). People lose interest when non-stop doing the same stuff. Everytime I look through the patch notes I hope something new (even if it's very very small) is popping up.

I'm glad you think so, my question is would the people use it and more importantly would devs put it in place among the laundry list of "to-do" items in Asylum?
