RDM?

I didn't know what section to post this but Can someone explain in detail of the meaning of Random Deathmatch. Excluding the fact that someone kills you for no reason. I also have a question and that is if someone tells you to put your hands up and you comply, Are they still allowed to shoot you without calling it as RDM? Even after they have robbed you? Because i just had a situation where this guy robbed me of my oil after i complied and then shot me anyways. What is the point of telling someone to "hands up or die" if they are going to die regardless of the fact that they complied with the attacker?

Just curious.

First. I always rob people then say somthing like sing a song if i like it u can go umm I dont need you telling the cops about this so this is where u die or If i rob a group I say You all are whitnesses to this crime and I dont need any more police attention than I already got. or some thing that lets me kill them.

Smells like a bowl of RDM to me

If a player complies and does what you ask, that does not give you the right to still kill them. You need to have a legit RP reason why they must still die and not having any money when you rob them is not enough.

Since you did comply it is RDM. If you have any proof you should fill out a report here. Now make sure it follows the required format and guidelines.

Do not Random Deathmatch (RDM)

RDM is killing/downing another player without any type of HOSTILE role-play being initiated and reasonable amount of time for the target to react.

Intentions must be clearly stated to the intended target, and they MUST be given reasonable time to react.

Revenge killing is NOT a form of role-playing reasoning.

RDM rules do NOT apply within ILLEGAL areas.

  • Cartels, Rebel - 300 Meters
  • Wongs, Drug Dealer - The target must be with in range of using the NPC/Sign

You must make sure you have your in-game effects volume turned up! This is the sound level for your direct communication. VON is used for Vehicle, Group, and Side.

The rules around RDM have changed slightly: Please refer to the changes Here!

Also, as a safe note, give the player 5 seconds minimum to comply after you tell them hands up. This not only gives them ample time to react, but also accounts for the 2 second delay in hearing you that they may experience over direct communication.

If you comply, then they must come up with another ultimatum for you. For example, I like to use "Sing the Star-Spangled Banner for me. If you miss any of the words, you will die". Most people don't know it, so I use that if they absolutely must be eliminated lol.

Hope this helps!

Well then we got RDMed from the last statement you made. 1. they didn't give me time to react, 2. they killed me without a reason. Such as "you're a witness you must die"
