Why are player reports deleted?

I reported some kid yesterday for exploiting and the thread was deleted. How do I know if he got banned or not? If it wasnt accepted why not just post "Insufficient evidence. Report closed." and keep it locked so I can see the reply. Along with perhaps a reason because I had clear evidence of his exploit and I have no clue if it was denied or accepted.
