Denial
Ok I currently run @ about 35-48 frames with shadowplay running. Every now and then I may get a weird brief stutter in gameplay, usually when entering pyrgos, kavala etc.. My PC: i7 4770 16 GB RAM GTX 650 ti 256gig SanDisk SSD (Windows on it) 2 TB HDD (Arma 3 on it) I don't want any stutter anymore, ever again! Think I can get away with only upgrading my graphics card? Or should I just build a new PC? -- If just a graphics card, I was thinking to get a GTX 980 ti by Zotac. https://pcpartpicker.com/part/zotac-video-card-zt9050510p Any help would be greatly appreciated! Satan
Get a Titan X Don't do that and go with the 980ti unless you got cash to blow. Link to comment
Satan
Also, if it fits you should try putting Arma on your SSD. Link to comment

Denial
overclock your cpuchange some ingame settings on arma Can't, I was stupid a long time ago and bought the 4770 not the 4770k. I will probably pick up the 970GTX and see what changes it makes for me. If anything, I will just pick up a new mobo/cpu/ram. Link to comment

Diseased
Find me on steam I'm Diseased and you can find my settings on how to get 75 fps with this I7 4790k 4.0ghz 8gb 2400mhz ddr3 ram Evga gtx 750 ti Samsung 850 Evo 250 gb Literally for you just buy a evga 970 and PUT ARMA 3 ON SSD. Literally you SSD is good and if you put arma 3 on it I gurantee your lag spikes will mostly go away. Just today I upgraded my 5 year old SSD to the Samsung 850 Evo and I gained about 5-10 fps and for the 20min I played I didn't drop below 55 fps ( even in Pygros ) and on my old SSD I'd get 1 fps drops every 2-3 minutes. Diseased
Upgrading your GPU won't do much for Arma. It's all about optimization, putting arma on your SSD, and your CPU Link to comment
