I can't find a solid guide on prestige but from what I have gathered this is fact:

You can store money into prestige after 1m cap. Prestige can be taken out and put in your bank when you fall below cap. Also having 500k prestige awards triple paychecks. 

What is the max prestige? Do unlock a certain amount per dollar donated? What's the tax level for withdrawing prestige?

No max prestige, no on the donating, it's higher based on how much prestige you have, don't recall exactly how much.

So after even more research I've found that it's 15% base fee and increments up to 75% for 4m and beyond. So basically I would be better off filling every barrel and box in my houses with scotch than putting the money into prestige beyond 500k-1M. Thanks guys. How can I close the thread? (:
