Claudio
I was recently throwing a site together for our gang to keep track of our activities, banking, etc. and currently, everything has to be added and verified manually which takes up a lot of our time. So, I was thinking it'd be super cool if Asylum had some sort of API for pulling down user/gang stats. This would give us a chance to create third party sites (killboards, gang rankings, etc.) and create more fun competition among the player base. The API doesn't have to be anything crazy, just some RESTful endpoints where we could specify a player or a gang and pull down their stats. Pulling lifetime stats would probably be too much, so maybe a time frame could be specified. We could then pull things down within that time frame, like a list of the people a person killed within that time, or which turfs a gang capped within that time. Another option could be to open up a streaming API that just pushes out messages when certain actions occur, like when someone is killed, when a turf is captured, etc. The same sort of stuff that we see in game. Of course, you'd probably want to hand out API keys to avoid abuse. I'd definitely throw some cool stuff together for the community if we had access to an API like this. @Gnashes Edited April 22, 2017 by Claudio Space, BlackShot and Sojobo like this Link to comment
