CPU Kernel BUG

Just wanted to let people know what has happened for those who haven't heard. 

It's a bug in x64 and x86 cpus. This is mostly pointed at Intel CPUs and not AMD/ARM CPUs. Just make sure to have them Windows updates on.

It's not just Windows, it affects VMs on all platforms. The bug allows a hacker to take control of the hypervisor from a VM. The bug has been known since July or something but I believe it was on embargo.

Yeah I got pulled into a meeting at work today because we use VM's to deploy servers to test stuff. I just meant that my windows is fake and hasn't been updated in a good long time

I just wanted to let people know. If you already knew about it you didn't have to look at it. Just wanted to have some people who have windows updates turned off, like myself, to make sure to turn them back on. Just trying to be nice for a change and not the salty little shit that I am.
