Listen man i dont know the radius of direct communication but ive played on servers with rp like this before, and the radius is different on Arma 2 OA so i thought it was the same radius on arma 3 but i guess its not

Also we had a Hummingbird in the air flying over them before we even arrived, so they knew that people where in the air but not on ground, Logically though i think they would as a big gang thing someone was on the ground
