Furnie Mack Posted May 29, 2016 Report Share Posted May 29, 2016 (edited) I'd start with the video card if I were going to upgrade. That CPU actually isn't too bad and easily overclocked. I have the 950 that I bought in 2009 and overclocked to 4ghz and my ram to 1600mhz. If your RAM and bios allows it, I'd overclock it to 1600mhz too and add more. DDR3 is cheap as shit. The best question is what is your budget I guess. I also found far better performance in games and in general by turning OFF my Hyper Threading and just running the 4 main cores.
