Shadowplay won't record

Shadowplay is giving a red dash through the circle symbol

 

I've reinstalled ALL my gfx drivers
I have turned it off and on again
My HDD has 820gb of space left

pls help

Folder you're trying to save to may have a permissions error. Have you updated Gforce Experience itself? (not GPU driver).

Is your game in full screen?

[Vanilla]

It won't record in full screen unless you set it to capture desktop. Has to be windowed full

GeForce Experience -> Drop down menu (beside account) -> preferances -> Privacy controls

Overlay -> Settings icon on the right -> Privacy control

If you still cant get it ill screenshot it

Other way around. If it's set to capture desktop it works in windowed full screen. If desktop capture isn't checked, game needs to be full-screen.
