You clearly have no idea about ballistics..... A 9mm could go thru a car. 7.62 and 6.5 have no problem tearing thru sheet metal. While the bullet speed may dissipate a lot going thru a steel wheel it most certainly can and will. The US military wears 3 inch steel plates that are specifically built to stop 7.62 rounds and they fail at 2-3 rounds, so expecting a 1/4 steel wheel to prevent damage is a bit silly. Link to comment
