  2. Has the hellcat been removed? I crashed my police hellcat the other night and when I went to buy a new one there wasn't one in the shop. I haven't had a chance to try and buy one as civ or craft one. Can anyone confirm that you can still get them?

"total number of syncs" is "how many synclog entries does a player have where the timestamp is different".

Again, each of those individual syncs has literally everything about your character.

Seems like there should be a way to maybe once a day dump (or whatever makes sense to not overload the server) the data to a table of some sort then strip out everything except Arma ID and play time (cop/civ) then have MA scrape that table rather than splunk. I don't know maybe I am thinking about it the wrong way as I don't know how splunk works.

Yea i really hope they can try bring it back and i think it was removed as people was storing things in the backpack then putting it in the crate so they could hold more things (Exploiting)

I think that was a bug that BI fixed around the same time as the stamina update so now loaded backpacks take up the same weight as the stuff inside it.

I see his argument though.  They have basically discontinued the former donation system and it's useless.  It does disappoint me a little bit as the two systems are completely seperate.  Donating to get loot crates should increase your donor level as a whole, you still are supporting the server.  I'm a little bit surprised they didn't do this already.

yeah I agree with that as well. You are still contributing to the servers so it should be counted.

Trust me if i could take my $100 back right now i would because there is no point in donating anymore.

Other than keeping the servers going that you probably have spent many many hours on. Running 4 servers that are constantly using up bandwidth is not cheap and if there weren't donations the servers would go bye bye. So if you enjoy playing on the servers then there is a point to donating just to keep them going. Thats just my opinion though.

The problem I have is that S6 wasn't announced in a professional way. No Promotion, No Posts, nothing about it.

I even had a newbie friend ask where he can find out about more information on S6 on the Forums, but there was no where to lead him. S6 should be a big deal and the fact that there is no Pinned post by a Admin announcing the release of it, or anything of that nature is bad. If someone wants to learn more about S6 before playing, they have no where to look, no announcements, no posts, no dedicated section on the forums. Amount of messages I get from people from other communities asking about S6 but unfortunately I had no where to lead them to other then saying "go download and play it"

I'm not a big fan of S6, but the release of it was handled so poorly. It just kind of went online, nothing else, its as if, the staff team is not proud of it. S6 was a opportunity to bring in players from other communities, youtubers and streamers. Its a awesome concept, just rushed and handled very poorly. A fancy announcement page with some details and fancy artwork goes a long way, especially when bringing out something as big as this.

Server 6 should be a big thing considering Asylum is the only community to port its Altis Framework over to a Non Vanilla map without getting fucked over by Tonics Framework regulations. But unfortunately the server is dying because of some poor choices, when in reality it should be doing amazing for something of its kind.

Maybe it wasn't ever officially announced because its still in a somewhat Alpha phase. I also think its kind of strange there is nothing on the site about it unless you look at it as a "Work In Progress" That isn't ready for the general population. I don't know though only devs would know this. It just seems to me that they threw something together got it out to the established community to get feedback on it. For all we know they are completely revamping everything right now and trying to figure out pricing for most of the stuff. If you think about it there were a ton of assets added and you can't just throw them on the market all willie nillie until you can figure out what things should cost. This could just be wishful thinking but I am hoping they are hard at work trying to work out the kinks and work out pricing model for the market with all the new assets. I think Hubs post was spot on though, it would make the map less annoying if we could just pull a reasonably priced chopper and fly to where we want to go. At least throw in the planes that can land on water so you're not forced to land somewhere where there are people camping to rob you. I think S6 is a nice change though and I enjoy it. Maybe it would lend itself better to the new map Tonoa just for optimization reasons but with the right changes Australia could still be amazing.

Very exciting times indeed. If anyone knows of some great vehicle mod packs then feel free to PM me! I'm becoming addicted to making single player missions again.

I am just pumped for the pet penguins.

You have any of these missions posted anywhere? I have been looking for single player missions.

  9. Is it a nerf or is it working as it was supposed to with the market supply and demand system. I think it just wasn't dynamic before and now it is. Gotta check what the market has out there now and maybe cash in on 15 year or the different whiskeys. It will give you a reason to make something other than scotch as well.

  10. you need to go to the site from the same IP you last played from. (log into the server then log out and go to the webpage from the same computer). It basically uses your external IP address to figure out which arma ID you are. Not real sure how it works if you have more than one Arma ID from the same IP.

I bought my pc "out of the box" from a very popular norwegian store. (komplett.no)

It's exactly how it was when I bought it.

If it runs fine then its probably ok. I would say if you have had it for more than a month and it runs fine under load then its probably fine. Being on the warm side isn't so bad if its running stable.

What is a normal temperature? Is mine really hot? Im only running hearthstone right now...

I have my i5 2500k overclocked to 4.6ghz and it usually runs around 50C. Thats with a decent fan and heatsink. I think the cpu's won't start throttling until around 90-95 C but according to intel your max average temp should not exceed 66.8C at the IHS (I think, never really understood what tCase actually meant) where as mine says 72C. It might be that the number is not the same place as the software your using is taking the temp (core temp vs heatsink temp or whatever) but your's still seems a little warm. Are you using the heatsink and fan that came with the cpu? Sometimes if your case doesn't have adequate air flow those don't work so well.

-1, I don't think you've been around long enough to know, as I don't recognize your name, but a preset gearing thing would totally take out the suspense of being in the clothing store and getting shot in the back with 30k on you. Being able to gear that quick would also give Donors a very significant advantage over those that choose to play on Asylum without donating.

Gearing up is pretty iconic on Asylum, we even have a term for people that gear up slow... Would be nice, but unfortunately, Asylum is the wrong place to suggest something like this.

Donators get debit cards which take that suspense away. I would agree though that a common kit that everyone had access to at the different markets that gives you essentials while taking the money out of your account would be cool. I don't see anything wrong with there being something like a "hunters kit" which had some food and water and a skinning knife. Although might be a lot of work on the back end for very little gain so not sure if its worth the dev's time.
