Competitive cartel fighting is completely dead because of this issue. Fighting cartels nearly always ends in a loss because of invisible and teleporting players, not to mention they're practically godded because it's so bad. From a standpoint of a player who focuses cartels and federal events, cartels mainly, this shit kills the game for me and makes me want to quit. No amount of money should force players to play at such a disadvantage compared to these VPN players. Don't you ban people for unfair advantages? Why can they still play. It is unfair.

How many hours per week can you put in approximately ? - Split between work and college I'll usually be on during the night time. I will put in an effort in keeping things in order and making the gang work. Hours per week ~40
Do you understand what this gang is about and what are focus is? If you do then are you willing and able to participate in these regularly? - This gang is about cartel fighting. Learning techniques to have the upper hand in cartels, dominating the server and spreading our name with respect. Throwing GGs after a cartel fight regardless of how hard we smoked them and or got smoked. I am exclusively a cartel fighter, it's what I do. Other than federal events and the occasional random event.
What previous gangs were you in and why did you leave? - On Asylum I've mainly been in gangs me and my mates created (small 3-6 member gangs just so we can cap cartels). I used to run Keonix on Asylum, I disbanded it because it was at this point in time where I moved to Olympus. When I moved to Olympus I co-ran Anonymous gang, a gang in which controlled fighting all around Altis. We had several in depth relations and alliances with other gangs, some of which we had to drop. Basically we were in control, I left this gang because of permission issues (only gang leader could control a lot of scenarios, and wasn't always on) / Olympus prime time dying out and moving on to other games like Rust. After recently reexploring Asylum, I joined Zenith. I am however leaving as I would like to lead my own gang amongst my long time friends.
Why do you want to join and how could you benefit this gang by being a member? - I want to join because I am interested in building a gang from the ground-up and doing it right. I can benefit this gang because I have experience within discord and Arma 3 Gang discords, and leadership within an Arma 3 group/gang. I am looking to keep the gang strict on comms, and keep out any idiocy or immaturity. I am also a valuable member to have pushing a cartel, I worry about my teammates, and will attempt to insure everyone gets a rev if they need one, simply thinking as one or as a gang, you can realize that the dead guys kit on the ground is also your kit. Pick him up. I also am a good shooter and know my way around Ifrits. I can also control a team and enforce tactics and comms effectively. I'm not worried about people not liking me, pick your shit up, dude.

the people complaining about it are usualy just people that barely play the game and never want to make money when they do play which is not how a life server should be.
i'm going against my gang opinion with this as well but if people actually have to grind more often, there will also be more interactions / reasons to rob people other then just to mess with someone will make places that are quite dead like 90% of the map is right now come alive again
So keep the electric bill , removing it only benefits people that sit in their houses all day / get on to fight or only log on to make sure they dont lose their houses

The END love you henry facesmasher ❤️This would require people to be doing runs for way longer than they need to be. You have to do a run every single week for your house upkeeps. Not everyone has that time to grind house electric bill money, and still enjoy the game. You're only thinking about the rich players. This affects all the new players. Say you're new and just bought a new one crater, you now have to pay that one craters cost every single week. Bullshit and not fun at all. This update is going to lose players and make Asylum die even faster. The end is near but it doesn't need to be because of this unthoughtful forced out update.

Yeah, I agree, none of the ideas I stated have been thought about or actually have anything backing them, I was just throwing alternatives that came to mind quickly as I wrote the response.

If this is a stab at house hoarding, which hopefully it is and NOT a money sink, then why not just reduce the inactive days from 30 to 7 for you to lose a house? Make it 7 days that you don't access your house and you'll lose it. Same exact outcome minus the losing new players and even the already rich players who don't want to pay over 100k to maintain their houses. As a player who uses my money to fight cartels, and to create situations with the APD and such, which is what keeps the server alive, I do not hoard money or have the capabilities to do so, I make enough money to fight and fight until I need to make enough money to fight. If I have to pay for my houses every 7 days, when I don't even get that much time to play on top of work and college in general, then why the hell am I playing anyway? If I have to grind every time I get on just to maintain the ability to spawn somewhere else? To store things in something that's not a car, which can be stolen? It is quite frankly a stupid implementation with no thought under it. Find other ways to sink all of the rich players money. This is the only DEFINITIVE way of killing Arma 3's life servers. Asylum is one of the only ones left. Don't ruin what has been so great.

I played early 2017 to early 2019 before I quit 19-20 I know tower lag has always been an issue, and that lag in general has always been an issue. I also understand that the game is dead and 'competitive cartels' will never be back like they were, not a new player here. I've been in the scene for a while, just not very active on the forums or within the community, only the groups I played with. The problem isn't solely the fact that they're lagging, it's that they're blatantly abusing it in almost every single fight we encounter. The clips keep coming.
