  1. It's not only the name but the incredibly short recruitment message, with 0 effort, and abundance of spelling errors. Please kill me, just put me out of my misery and just end me. Compare the two threads...not even close to the same level of effort.
  2. uhhhhhhhh wtf is this shit? Is stealing a name a thing now? Did you not search the forums before making this shit or something?
  3. To those constantly asking if the Mac that's running around on APD right now is me, no. No, it's not.

It's not the first time someone come to Server 3 with the same name. I have messaged the person twice, but they refuse to respond.

I do play the server, sometimes with my Mac handle and sometimes with another name.

  4. This. I should point out that I still checked my seatbelt. He doesn't need shitty Internet to drive like a dumbass. That's his reason for being.

    Battlefield 1

maybe not "best", but definitely the best BF and funnest BF online experience. I thought Hardline would have been better if they pulled their heads out of their asses and not had it browser based. wtf.

    Battlefield 1

pssh...it goes in this order. Overwatch ArmA CSGO DayZ Golf with your Friends Farming Simulator Any shitty game in the cheapest donation pack of Humble Bundle Snake on a Motorola Cell Phone, circa 2002 A colonoscopy ...then maybe Battlefield.
  8. Yah I built a nice little studio to do more streaming and youtube work. See where it goes.
  9. The added risk of having to get out of the vehicle physically would make the entire thing worth it. But we're literally talking about hopping out of a vehicle scoll and click on ATM then get back in and leave. It's not like you would need to sit there through a loading bar. With a vehicle placed properly, even with someone approaching, there's a high chance of escaping. The vehicles location wouldn't be disclosed and they would be as frequent as regular DP missions and the destination would be random. No one attacking would have knowledge of their route and would have to act fast when the truck quickly approaches a stop. Any successful camping would need some above-average coordination. A LARGE chunk of these would go by unnoticed, unless they are spotted randomly in route. Which, in all honesty, is no more risky than driving a HEMMT basically anywhere outside of town. The driver dies, the vehicle and gear despawn and the rest is up to the rebels to complete their mission. There's no risk to the drivers, only reward after fighting off whoever is chasing them. It doesn't cost anything and the loadout is temporary, so there's no concern of losing it. If a group of rebels are successful enough to actually get the bonds, they still have to make it back to the rebel outpost, where, if APD treats it as something closer to a post Fed pursuit, being notified by the "Armed Transport Dept." it would get the APD active in a small side event and give even more of a fight for the rebels. If an armed vehicle is attacked, cops are called and the driver and passenger defend it until authorities arrive. Which wouldn't be all that hard is something like a Hunter. Allowing drivers to stall a bit, until officers arrive wouldn't be too far-fetched. Even cooler when the driver(s) can get out and engage the targets alongside the officers, to defend their shipment. The officers help sweep the hostiles and give the vehicle a repair and let it go on its way. No escorts. Make it a Bank Robbery charge. Just sayin.
  10. Not going to lie, the bounty hunter thing does seem a bit over the top. There are so many bounty hunters that go try hard mode and act like cops, because they need more play experience on the server and think that's how you do it. It sounds crazy, but that's like SUPER frequent....seriously, wtf? But, in all honesty, the constant Fed's killed the RP experience I was going for when playing cop. I don't play it for "action", I do cop for RP. It was a real bummer.
  11. I'm posting this on behalf of @Kromgruk, from server 3 (also Tanoa) who mentioned a good idea earlier. His idea was simple. Allow people to pick up DP missions to transport "money" from ATM's to a drop location. It'd be high risk and fun to play, may even keep rebels busy from time to time. To throw in on the idea, I'd suggest it having to be multiple ATM stops per route and there is little to no monetary risk to the person risking themselves. The driver wouldn't be paid until the money is delivered, and what drops when the driver(s) are killed must still be taken to a rebel to trade for usable money. I dunno, make them bank bonds, until the rebels convert it to money. A timer is triggered when a job is starting where the person has a designated amount of time to complete a mission, where when the timer runs out, all the gear and transport vehicle despawn and the person is teleported back to the start spot. The important part would be making it a task to stop the vehicle, and also balanced in terms of payout. Just a cool idea that started to get kicked around while processing on Tanoa.
  12. Oh nice! I built my gf a 4790k, with just a GTX 770 and she pulls 50-70fps on Ultra. Looks like technologies starting to catch up to arma lol Maybe I'll try the capture card and see how it holds up to the other hardware.
  13. I actually don't use the card for basic capture. The CPU is well over capable of handling anything I need. I did have my SLI fail, so I'm only running on a single GPU right now. Luckily, one is good enough to get everything out of arma without any issues while streaming, as long as I don't have additional playbacks (twitch or OBS) on my other monitors.
  14. i7 5960X clocked to 4.6GHz 32GB Vengeance Mem X99 Deluxe EVGA 980Ti SLI and an Avermedia Live Gamer HD internal Capture Card if needed.
  15. I've been working on a few editing styles to try and make ArmA videos more appealing. I apologize for the newb level of content and the ROYALTY-FREE MUSIC I was FORCED to use. Not my choice in tunes. Hope you guys dig it though. This was filmed the first few hours the dev branch was up, before any servers were live and picking up any traction, more focused on new models and the map itself. Again, this is not related to Asylum at all. I'd appreciate any subs you can spare
  16. Didn't even bother checking this place until now, just saw this message. You sound like a twat. The End.
  17. Dude's been here for years and helps anyone who asks, then he asks an actual question and you guys come up with this? #uselessdogshit #asylumpricks
  18. This is a joke right? First off, No. Secondly, no one here related to Asylum, integrates custom animations into ArmA Lastly, aside from server 6, all the server are just mission files.

    Batman v Superman

It's a voice changer that's built into his suit by Alfred. The first time you hear it, is when Alfred's testing it. Damn, mad spoiler alert brah. *SPOILER* Yes, obviously, since there's Doomsday, there's "The Death of Superman" story arch. He dies because that's what happened when Superman fought Doomsday back when they killed him off in the 90's. I knew they were going to do it the second I saw Doomsday in the trailer. Another obvious fact that was found out in that story arch, Superman can't die. That's literally when DC went from a spiraling mess, to the strongest franchise at that time. He died, because that's what happens, lol. How can you say the movie sucks for recreating the Death of Superman? With not even seeing it? Are you 12? The thing about the movie is that it was the most crammed and rushed 2 1/2 hr movie there could be. They tried to shove so much into it that the movie is kinda edited to dog shit. You can tell that it was meant to be a 3 - 3 1/2hr movie. Ben Affleck did a really really good job with Batman. Superman was kinda a pansie. Eisenberg as Lex was TERRIBLE. Wonder Woman was boring and some of the Doomsday fight looked like it was trying to decide whether it was a $250m budget movie or a CW tv episode with limited FX resources. The thing about the movie though, Batman is kinda the shit. Coming from a very very picky guy. This Batman is straight up stabbing people, no shit, stabs people. If you ever wanted to see a buff, stocky Batman grab a dude by the throat, lift him as high in the air as possible and choke slam the dude THROUGH the floor, this is that movie. There was no finesse with this Batman, dude was putting people through walls and floors. He was definitely the most badass Batman made. His performance as Batman? Better than Bale, for sure. With no REAL villain to hate, even though Eisenberg tried, you kinda get relief from Afflecks Batman because he does it well. Overall 7/10, but a 7 is watchable. I would go as far to say it's a theater must. It's a really good popcorn movie. The Director's Cut that's been promised should make the movie a lot better, just wasn't PG-13 safe. I know it feels right to judge something based on others opinions, or to just hate it to hate it, but life is no fun that way, I promise. There is this thing where people hate something just because other enjoy it (Jaded), or it makes too much money, or they heard someone say something. Judge for yourself. You can't hate something you haven't experienced.
  20. [POTENTIAL SPOILERS] What'd you think?
  21. Yah, Metaxa. It's a Brandy, that'd do well.
  22. Scotch = Whiskey made in Scotland Greece is not Scotland. Whiskey is "Whiskey" when casked for at least 72hrs. "Moonshine" is when stored for any less than that. Where did Scotch come from? Do you even alcohol bro? *It's just been bugging me.
