My gang and I were completing a PB on S1 last night and an enemy orca landed roughly 700M out from the island gate.

One of the members of my gang took some warning shots at it, saying pretty much GTFO here.

One irks me is they then go in Side chat and spam PM to everyone in the gang complaining about RDM, this and that. 

Go read the fucking rules about RDM before you complain and whine about something you know nothing about.

Here is how side chat RDM (different than normal RDM) works:  

If they die, get shot at, or if you point a gun at them it's side chat RDM.  They are required to scream in side and they must type out "RDM!!!" at least twice with three or more exclamations.  This is then to be followed by no less than two more messages informing you that you were both "recorded" and "reported".  A demand for unreasonable compensation can also be added but is not required to satisfy the rules of side chat RDM.

pretty sure you are talking about us. We were actually selling meth at the drug dealer and you shot at us. Just because its an orca doesn't mean we are hostile. We never said anything about RDM, nor said anything in side chat. We just texted one of you asking why we were shot at. Much drama.

Honestly you shouldnt be shooting at anyone further than 300m at a PB (Except for cops/gangs you are engaged with) otherwise that would mean you could shoot any car driving past, or attack anyone going to the many shops/locations in pyrgos.

 

However in this case wouldnt be RDM if they were at drug dealer. Cos thats a red zone in itself.
