Shadow Play

Anyone ever get an issue with shadowplay where it won't record when you press your hotkey? I restart my computer to fix it but would anyone know if there is any other way?

It happens sometimes when I play on windowed mode. Try and set your game to full screen or the shadowplay to capture desktop rather than game.

Ya on the game you are trying to shadow play there should be like a little refresh button at the corner that turns red when you hit your shadow play hot-key. For me it is at the bottom right. Sometimes it doesn't show up on the game so I just exit the game, go on geforce experience and open up the shadow play tab. You need to restart PC, try it, if it doesnt work, sometimes mine bugs, and i have to open task manager, end any task relative to NVIDIA, and then re-open it, then have to turn shadow play back on

This is my 3-step program to ensure video capture with Shadowplay:

1. Set Shadowplay to always capture desktop.

2.. Make sure the overlay shows before you start the game.

2½. If the overlay stop showing, re-launch Nvidia Experience.

3. If that does nothing, restart your PC.

Other than these, I don't really have any "tricks" to fix it.

I set mine to the pause break key, then hold the key down for  a few seconds. its worked every time since doing that.
