  1. Just git good m8. You have 7.62, armored vehicles, usually large groups and your almost always playing the defensive. If a cop manages to capture you he should be able to take your gun so that we dont have to worry about you and watch over you during a fight, say your friends rescue you just picklock the car the is within 30m and get your gun back. It doesn't take long to lockpick. You should just be happy about this update, now you have a chance to get your gun back instead of it disappearing into thin air.
  2. Leave it in the car and put you friend in the car and leave the area. What is so hard about this, just think like a normal person.
  3. I recommended this before but a pursuit slot. Perk trees might have access to quicker repairs(the same 25,50,75 as medic), ability to unlock infinite spikestrips and nitrous, the same 25% faster medic perks the undercover has and maybe tougher vehicles if they pull them(as in harder to damage all parts of it). It's a rough idea and could be expanded upon.

  7. Ya alright. Really quick though. Is it possible to make it so cops can check the Y inventory of all cop cars so that we can see if we need to go back to hq. Cops like to play musical chairs with cars when we group up and you often end up with someone else's car not having access to the Y inventory
  8. Sorry, just sharing my opinion. If that is how we are interned to operate then that's fine. If we aren't suppose to fight big rebel groups fine, just don't make our gameplay experience a chore elsewhere. Now I have to constantly have to stop by the HQs after every arrest to drop stuff off instead if continuing my patrol. Maybe evidence lockers at checkpoints? If I didn't like this server, I wouldn't play here, but I do like it and I share my thoughts on what I think would make the server more enjoyable for me. Not sure why others are harrassing me for me just sharing my opinion.

  10. Isn't the point of asylum life to rp not to go have big rebel battles that involves no talking to non-rp trash talking. Also when we capture people they are often salty and there is no good rp there so instead we get rewards with cash. If someone roleplays well we lower their ticket or pardon them. So we get rewarded with roleplay and less to no cash instead. On another note, we get paid peoples bounties so we can get gear, if we could get better gear at more expensive prices we would buy it but they don't let us because we need to keep the rebels at an advantage that they wouldn't have if this server was realistic like the devs are apparently trying to make it like.
  11. I think that is one of the big issues right now though is not getting paid. With the servers conditions lately it seems eight times out of ten the server goes down precisely when we start to process very large bounties. Your probably going ya right but I'm not kidding after everyone gets kicked almost all the officers log off because after all that fighting to capture these people we don't get rewarded and it is very depressing. Should we not be fully rewarded for capturing someone who is better armed and most of the time better skilled than most officers. Another subject is use of lethals. Often in fights with gangs we are outnumbers, on average you will see 3-5 officers fighting a group of 6-10 rebels(at least on server 2) so we need to level the fight some and people get lethaled. Do you know how depressing it is to lethal a 100k bounty that you have been fighting with for a while just to get paid like $500. Then it's level and you capture the guys with like 1 or 2 manslaughters. Like you say, the reward of cop is always getting paid in the end but that doesn't always happen because the server conveniently kicks people or we have to lethal someone while fight an "uphill battle" if you know what I mean. I know the problems but I don't have the answers.
  12. More rebels that need to have every advantage in every fight or else it's unfair. Then they make posts like these to make it seem like that officer is alone in his opinion but really it is the opinion of most of the APD. Some of these posts are borderline harassment towards someone just trying to share their opinion. We just want balance and our experience on cop not to be a depressing chore(especially with this update) and lately it has been.
  13. My point exactly, people telling you get better or use tactics which is just not feasible when it's 2-3 officers fighting 5-10 fully-armed rebels. You might get lucky but really, you have less powerful weapons, armor, and people. Now instead of removing people from the fight you can't even disable them if your not near a car and even them if your not watching over your car all his buddy has to do is lockpick it and get the loadout back and now that rebel has lost nothing/risked nothing.
  14. So then how's about when we send rebels to jail they stay there permanently for their crimes or have to be jail broken out, that's REALISM FOR YOU. Being able to seize weapons off people in combat is our way to turn a fight to our tide. Now I always have to worry about a car being nearby and then guarding instead of focusing on the fight which is already very rebel sided. This IMO is a dumb change meant to benefit rebels which happens in every update as of recent. I fear that soon the best weapons cop can get will be pistols with lethals only and will have to run up and try to restrain people. I mean that's realism bullshit right? Let's just continue to cripple the APD until no one wants to play it anymore because you just get flattened by rebels. This update should be reverted and we need at least some updates to benefit cops. This update going to remove risk for rebels getting caught be an officer that can sneak up on them because they can be easily freed and recapture their weapons and it is going to be a chore for cops always making sure a vehicle is cleared out. People say use tactics, we do and succeed, then we get fked because there are 5 other rebels nearby full armed and there are 2 of us and now we cant disarm someone. I really do call bullshit on this realism excuse, sorry but not sorry.
